Re: Czaban Back on the Air
One thing is for certain, Joe Gibbs knows who said it, if there's any truth to the whole matter. If the statements in that ESPN article are accurate, players should be careful how they speak (so called off the record) without knowing the reputation and history of whom they're speaking, and their relationship with the team.
I mentioned in another post that there's nothing that goes on with this team that Bubba Tyer dosen't know, and he tells Gibbs everything. The author of that article is no stranger to redskin park, if memory serves me correctly, he was a beat writer for the team during portions of Gibbs first tenure. There won't be any secrets here, the culprit has been exposed to Gibbs.

I won't say the team knows who said what, or if it was said at all, but if it was said Joe Gibbs knows who said it. He may never reveal to the public that he knows who said what, if it was said, because that's the nature of Joe Gibbs, he would never do that, but believe me, there's nothing that goes on having anything to do with this team the Joe Gibbs dosen't know about. All of his older players know and will attest to that fact. Some of the younger players with this Gibbs tenure might not be quite as familiar, but if they stay around long enough, they'll know too.

He wasn't suspended it turns out. He had to go to a birthday party. Which was apparently scheduled in 1998 before he started covering the Redskins on Sundays. I thought he had been fired because that was what was being said here last Monday after Mike Wise sat in for him. He wasn't, which was a great diappointment to me since he's a complete terd. The reason we thought he had been fired was he had pissed off Brunell by asking a provocative and pointless question. Also there were several clues on the covers of various Beatles Albums.

Re: Czaban Back on the Air
I don't know where anyone ever got the idea he was suspended in the first place. I had not read, or heard that anywhere else but here. When I read it here I was looking for any other reports to confirm what was suggested, but to no avail.
Maybe Mark Brunell didn't like the question that was put to him, but certainly that's no reason to suspend the guy who asked the question.
