True, we've made our bed with these qb's, we have to lie with them.

We have better positions to address...like CB, or any defensive position.
ABSO-FREAKIN-LUTELY!!!! Other teams are always hopped up to trade up for a quality qb / rb / wr. We could easily trade down for top notch quality players that fill our needs.

I disagree with everyone about Quinn being a poor qb in the NFL. Sure if you took him right out now, and placed him with a team, he'd suck. But who wouldn't? Quinn will be a good NFL qb because he adapts. Charlie Weiss is a great coach and Quinn will be ready because of him.I don't beleive ANY college qb is ever ready for the NFL,they have to sit for a year to understand the respective system. Even Peyton threw like 26 ints in his first year and he was the closest to ever being NFL ready.

don't forget about roethlisberger ... although their gameplan was extrememly conservative, he looked ready for the NFL when he went
15-1 (or something like that) in his first 16 games.

I also think Quinn will be a very good pro with a quick learning curve because of the pro stlye offense he runs. A lot of good college QBs who are high draft picks probably struggle at first because they are running a college style (lots of opinions, all shotgun formations, etc) so it takes them longer to adjust.

in the right offense Quinn could thrive,in the wrong offense he could look like heath shuler. its pretty simple. not great arm strength, but lots of moxie, and gets the ball out fast

Why do they need another young QB to ride the pine? If anything they need an established veteran that can win now since they seem to have JC on a 5 year plan.

His team was the one who brought him there...running game was run run, then run some more, and the D was great. But I do understand your point. Istill beleive Roethlisberger was and is over rated, but he did a good job of shutting me up last year. (not so much this year)

Absolutely not. He won't be available when we draft anyway. I see our first priority being going after a freakish DE and a monster DT to shore up the D-line. We'll probably use free agency to add depth to the secondary and get a good kicker. I think the O-line is ok, but wouldn't hurt to add depth in the later rounds.

That is optimistic thinking we won't continue our losing ways. Not that there is anything wrong with that, just optimistic.

Do you have your mind on anyone specific or are freaks and monsters just always available in the draft?

Well, they're all pretty much freaks of nature if you ask me, but how about a Quentin Moses if he's available (doubt it), or a Lamar Woodley. Then for tackle perhaps a Marcus Thomas or Amobi Okoye.

Brady Quinn ... Questions I would ask to make that decision under the current Redskins Front Office and coaching staff -

1. Can he hold a clipboard well?
2. Does he look good sitting on the bench for several years?
3. How much would these special talents cost the Redsskins?
