He is done for the season!!! I really wish it was not so!!! You are so right about Buges has his work cut out for him now! What about Brandom Winey 6-7/320 2 year pro out of LSU? He played 11 games last year and started 2. Do you think Mark Wilson or Jim Molinaro can step in now?

Yes, he's out. Doesn't mean it's the end of our Redskins world this season. They might move Dockery back to T or can Wilson fill the void? Wilson's big enough but haven't heard much about him during camp so far. WE WILL NOW. I've been too excited about this upcoming season to let this injury ruin my outlook. But let's hope Thomas' knee problem isn't a BIG problem. Two guys out of the picture wouldn't be pretty.

Any achilles injury is a bad one. This is a bad break.

Why do these things always have to be season ending? Why must it happen to our best friggin offensive lineman? Why couldn't it have been just something minor, maybe out only 4-6 weeks or something?
SON OF A B#@$*!!!!!!!! ok, still trying to cool down. Does Jevon Kearse play on the left or right side? What about Michael Strah....oh yeah... he lines up against the right tackle. Wonderful... Oh well. We must move on. Jim Molinaro, Marc Wilson, Brandon Winey, Kenyatta Jones simply have to step up. If there's one coaching staff out there who can squeeze talent out of the less talented, it's Gibbs, Bugel & Co. |

The only positive is that it happened very early in the preseason. I'm not sure what free agents are out there but I'm betting it's probably slim pickings.
I guess we'll see if Wilson is ready, or maybe Jones can slide over to RT. Whatever happens we're going to miss Jansen dearly. |

remember to chant 'JANSEN' at the games. true fans won't forget a true redskin, and we need to show he's not out of sight out of mind this season.

if he tore his achilles then the trainers knew about it as soon as they looked at him because usually when you tear your achilles your calf rolls up into your knee

The Jansen loss has very little up side. The good thing about it is the team has 4 more games and five weeks to try get over it. In the NFL these things happen and a lot of the time a guy comes out of nowhere to fill in real well. Lets hope that is the case! Lets hope that the back ups and the draft picks last year are as good as they are thought to be. I would not be all that surprised if someone dose real well and makes it hard for someone to keep his job next year! If so Samuels with his high cap could be on his way out! Who do you think will do the best in Jansens spot?

This would be alot easier if Jon Jansen was a assclown. He really is the #1 Redskin on this team right now. I cant say how much I look up to him for being what he is. You never really think of how much he means to the team until hes gone.
