Re: Stay focused TEAM
What has me the most bothered is how the Skins punk out on these road NFC East games. The Giants got to Philly and steal one and even Dallas played the Iggles tough on the road. The skins meanwhile sleepwalk at Dallas and now at New York. They have another shot in Philly. I know a win is tough on the road in this division--but laying these eggs is what gets people rightly riled up on this forum.

Re: Stay focused TEAM
Right now there are 10 teams that have a better record than the Redskins in the NFC alone. The top six teams make the playoffs in each conference. We don't have an easy schedule from here on out. It's gonna be tough to make the playoffs this year unless something happens to turn this ship around.

Re: Stay focused TEAM
its going to take a minor f*cking miracle to get back into the race. 0-2 in the divison and 0-3 vs the nfc. do i need to quote Jim Mora, Sr.??????? something has to give. is the answer shawn springs? i dont know. and by the way dont sleep on vince young this weekend. His stats dont show it but he almost beat the colts.

Re: Stay focused TEAM
Sure there are a lot of games left, but putting 3 on the board is not going to cut it. Skins played a bad game on both sides of the ball, against the Giants, not exactly a super bowl bound team.

Re: Stay focused TEAM
3-4, bye week, healthy springs, gibbs in december... we've got to win some division games though or it's a lost cause.

Re: Stay focused TEAM
We knew tht the first half of the season is tougher than the second, given the competition and the road games. It's do-able at 3-4 at the bye, but obviously, we've got to play better ball. Still, to get to the playoffs, you've got to string together some good wins. 8-3 isn't crazy, thinking about the team that played Jax.
Here's a point of optimism: we have NOT played our best ball yet. We have yet to put a game toegether with both offense and defense clicking. Now you have to ask yourself: can this coaching staff get it turned around? My feeling is yes. That's why these guys have the track records they do. So yeah, it's a tough road, and MAN, did that loss to Minn hurt! But it can be done. We'll see.
