Re: Parcells may call plays

The first thing that I thought to post after reading the title "Parcells may call plays", is "Parcells may also be gay", but it seems that issue has already been addressed.

Obviously we do know Parcells is a decent coach, the stats show that, but come on he is the Cowboys coach, our arch rivals. Are you guys(referring to those who seem "upset") seriously not going to have fun talking a little bit of smack to Parcells?

Geez, it is also offseason, what the hell else are we suppose to do? Hey I got an idea, lets talk about if Brunell should start, or better yet, lets talk bout how LaVar is a dick for leaving, and why Ramsey should have stayed. F that shit, its offseason, so I personally authorize the shit talking to continue.....

You make a good point, TMC. The Giants grabbed a lot of secondary depth obviously to counter our speedy wideout options. On the flip side, were the 'Skins offseason moves made as a counter to any of the other specific teams perceived weaknesses? I don't think so, in fact it looks to me that the other NFC teams have us in their sights not last year's "division champs".

On paper we shouldn't lose this division. We ahev the most rounded team with playmakers everywhere.

But on paper means little. The team who stays healthiest wins this division I think. The coaching on every team is good and the talent on every team is above average at the least. We are gonna beat each other up and see who stays on top. Hopefully it will be us.

But a Giants fan could easily say their secondary sucked and was bunned on numerous occasions, not just agaisnt Moss and Company. I understand where you guys are coming from, but it could also be viewed in another way.

Re: Parcells may call plays

I know what you mean but it still looks to me that we appear to be looking (slightly) behind us at the other NFC East teams.

On a side note, did anybody read the comments at the bottom of the Jon Jansen article? Check out who wrote in his opinion on the second comment.

All teams gear their rosters towards their division and conference rivals.

Especially within the division since those games are so critical.

Yeah, I thought that was pretty crazy. Looks like ol' Mr. Brown still keeps in contact with Redskins news.

I guess that is what I am going at, we are improving our team as well to do well in the NFC East. But I guess since we were 5-1 in the division, the teams that didn't do well in the division, made more moves to counter us...

Re: Parcells may call plays

I wonder if the team is still trying to bring Ray back as a coach. I know it was discussed at the end of the season. I think he would be a great guy to have around the team.

Re: Parcells may call plays

Ray's comment was well worded and he brought up good points. He seems like he is educated in the game quite well, maybe he wouldn't make a bad coach.

Respect them we have Taylor to spit on them.

Re: Parcells may call plays

Wow. If you can't make fun of the coach of the Dallas Cowboys on a redskins fan site, where can you?

Anywho--I wonder if this will affect the TO situation. There will be no buffer between Parcells and TO when it comes to play calling, and we know both of them can get pretty testy out there.

The NFC East is a beast--but what more could you want? 6 kick ass games, with the best team standing looking good for the playoffs. If you can win here, you can win against anyone.

Re: Parcells may call plays

I know everyone is LOVING the NFC East being back, but tell me you REALLY wouldn't love to see the Skins totally ream the division for a couple years Eagles-style before we all got competitive.

At least I would. It would be good for my heart.
