Actually I hadn't heard that statistic, but I guess it makes sense. The last numbers I heard the main campus has over 40,000 students, but statewide I believe there are over 80,000 (PSU has a very large satellite campus population......you can get a 4 year degree at a number of other campuses without ever going to University Park).

thanks, but yeah I wanted to go to PSU. I got a letter a few days before decision time and in it talked about that stat. It must make it easier to get jobs because everyone talks about the PSU alumni network. Are you at university park? I graduated from University Park in 1999. Now I work in Philly and live just outside the city. The PSU network is certainly huge. You really can't go anywhere (particularly in this state) without running into a PSU alum. Out-of-staters really do have it tough though. In-state it's a huge bargain IMO.

I envy you though. I wish I could go back and do it all over again. If college doesn't end up being the best time of your life, you're doing something wrong. There's just nothing better than being an undergrad. Enjoy the time, because the real world suuuuccckkks.
