This guy is amazing. I hope he breaks a million! If you haven't you should give it a watch!

And what does the guy do for a living?! He's a software engineer. I rest my case.

(fyi, I'm a software engineer )

If I were this guy, I'd just quit. It would be downright embarrassing to lose at this point. Better to go out on top rather than be known as the guy who lost defending for the 1232423349th time.

as a regular viewer of Jeopardy, I hate seeing this extremely intelligent and extremely smug guy winning night in and night out. I personally always root for contestants who r teachers, policemen, firemen or other normal people who don't make as much money as they deserve for what they give to the community. i joked the other day that this might turn out to be like the quiz show and its all been rigged cuz jeopardy hasn't gotten anything near this level of media coverage before. I still don't know why they got rid of the 5 wins and your done with a brand new car.

i thought ditching the 5 win limit was a bad idea too... in high school I did It's academic (broadcast on nbc locally, its like jeopardy with calculus etc...) and after doing a year on a competitive team, you realize... intelligence helps, but the guys who sit in a corner memorizing worthless fact sheets are the ones that win. Its really just a memorization test, which kind of surprised me, but i guess it shouldn't have in retrospect. Analytical intelligence really help that much (especially since jeopardy doesn't do math).

BTW, the most common questions (almost one a day) are about who was president when something happened, who was the nth president, etc... you only need to know the order and the terms that were less than 4 years to start with

sorry, ranting.... shutting up.

I cant watch him today due to the telethon, but am watching Lingo on the Game Show Network. It is nice to look at Chuck Woolerly's co-host, she is hot. It will be interesting to see if he gets beat or quits. If he gets beat it will be interesting to see how long that person can go.

Well I just lost all respect for this Jennings guy. They just had a video daily double with John Riggins (Riggo himself) saying that he had set a then NFL record with 24 TDs in one season, thanks to these guys blocking in front of him

And Jennings said "What is the Silver Curtain?"

Silver Curtain!!!????
