Re: Sean Salisbury

I think we should make just one thread devoted to the media hating on the skins. Whenever an article comes up that has someone hating on the skins, we can just post the link in that thread. Personally, i don't care what they say. It's not gonna make us better or worse. The only reason they hate on teams is because it attracts more readers.

Re: Sean Salisbury

Salisbury is a great steak, but an idiot as a broadcaster. I heard an interview a couple of days ago with John Clayton. When asked if the skins have been improved with the moves, he replied "definately, they will be the team to contend with in the East and possibly the NFC". "maybe not Super Bowl winners, but DEFINATELY contenders". Good call, John

If Portis went down Betts would be able to fill in (I don't know if he could stay healthy but that is a different story). I have heard on more than one occasion that Betts is viewed as a starting back by other teams.

With the strength at wideout they could just pass more. That being said, I don't think they can win the Super Bowl without Portis.

It's interesting you say that, as I have heard the rank and file of dough headed ninny "broadcaster" blast Dan, Joe and the team for overspending, neon, bruce, blah, blah, blah. However, the few people I have respect for like John Clayton, Jaws, and a couple more agree..............look out for the Skins..........CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Sean Salisbury

On Mike and Mike this morning Greenberg called the Skins a SB caliber team and placed them as the favorite in the East. Golic, who seems to never give up any love for the Skins, was predictably on the Cowboys jock.

Golic doesn't have much faith in Brunell, but Greenberg made a good point I thought by asking is Bledsoe that much better than Brunell? Golic was like duh, like there was no contest or something, I wonder if he even knows who had the better season last year??

Obviously not I guess.

Re: Sean Salisbury

i also was listening when golic stated that and was also thinking is bledsoe that much better there stats were pretty similar last year. Bledsoe is a statue in the pocket brunell has a little bit scrambling ability left in him and also i think our offesnse line is better. Some one posted eariler about not caring about what the so called experts say. but i just cant stand it alot of the media does it in my opinion is because they cant stand synder.

Salisbury is such an idiot. I dont think the Cowgirls will be any better than they were last year. You have to remember who is throwing him the ball.

see, thats pissing me off too. so the cowboys added TO and instantly theyre a playoff contender. ive said it a billion times and ill say it again, YOU HAVE TO BE CLOSE TO BEING A SUPER BOWL TEAM FOR TO TO HELP. of course he'll improve their receiving corps, but super bowl caliber? I think not. first neither barber OR jones is any brian westbrook. ALSO, mcnabb IS an elite QB whether people agree or not. he throws the ball around, makes plays with his feet and is just generally a GREAT qb. everyone is loving to slurp all over the cowboys because they signed TO. wait, oh wait until bledsoe and TO clash for the first time because he is getting tripled due to them having no other talent.

Re: Sean Salisbury

The Cowboys looked simply horrible in their game against the Skins in DC and once they were knocked out of the Playoffs by the Skins in Week 17th they had no effort against the Rams in their last game. I just don't think they play with any heart and all it is going to take is for Bledsoe and T.O. to get into a fight and it will be all over for that team. Between Parcells and T.O. and Bledsoe, it is oil and water, waiting to happen.

Re: Sean Salisbury

Salisbury is what he is. Not only does he not believe his bullshit, Parcells doesn't believe it either. He showed his indignation by not showing up at the press conference. Of course ol' Jerry tried to cover for him, but the truth is in his actions. Just wait until we beat the stuffing out their asses and watch ol' Jerry lose it and storm down to the field and cuss T.O and Parcells out for allowing D'Boyz to get swept again.

to Parcells defense he doesnt' go to any press conference for player introductions. He didn't go to Keyshawns or Drews. Believe me, Parcells would bring anyone back if he thought it would mean a championship.

Re: Sean Salisbury

Salisbury is a bit of an idiot, seems like he has a bit of an axe to grind against us for some reason. Did he ever play in DC? Maybe he was invited to a camp and Gibbs cut him, whatever it is it seems to be clouding his judgment.

But in all honesty, I don't care about the slight disrespect being dished to us. In fact it could be a good thing, it's tough to carry that mantle of "Super Bowl favorite" all year. Ask Peyton Manning and the Colts. Come the fall, our defense will again bring the pain and now we've got a few more options on offense.

I wonder if Salisbury will make a playoff bet on the Skins again?

Re: Sean Salisbury

Do You really think Parcells wants T.O. in Dallas with Bledsoe as the QB?
