No doubt as soon as Marcus Washington loses his braces it will be him. Right now he is slightly awkward like all adults with braces.

I agree

Joe Gibbs came back to town and stole LaVar's gold and he's still trying to recover. Joe Gibbs is the face of the Redskins, just the way it should be.

I think that Portis is the face of the team. I actually believe he has been it for atleast a year.
The thing is like the patriots with Brady the media brought him out. The media brought out Bruschi and Vinitieri. The media will bring people out as the face of the team so even if Joe Gibbs and the skins want it to just be the team they will always bring someone out as their media fav to be the fan fav. I'll agree that portis has played in to it with all the costumes and i'm glad they didn't affect his great season but Mr. Gibbs is still the man

Re: Face of the Redskins

its either going to be Marcus or Portis. Sean only if he cleans up his act. maybe in a few years for him but entering next year it is Washington and portis. I went with Portis. he seems to represent the skins on many media outlets. People say he will be on the madden cover(rumor i believe) so how could he not be the face of the team?

Re: Face of the Redskins

its portis. a lot of people are saying washington... he's a great player, but he's not nearly close to portis as far as the media stuff goes (and that's whats important for this poll). griffin is the most important player on our defense, but he's also the absolute worst interview you can get.

besides, great RBs trump great LBs. If campbell blows it up, he'll be everywhere, if he's only average to good, it'll probably be portis till he's gone.

I totally agree. I like Washington a lot; he's a leader, a baller, and a class act. But, Portis is definately the face of the Redskins. Portis is entertaining, well-known, and productive.
