I don't know where we are with a Kam Curl new deal, but I thought this was worth keeping track:

@AdamSchefter
Falcons are giving former Bengals S Jessie Bates a four-year, $64.02 million deal that includes $23 million in year one and $36 million in first two years of the deal, per source. He now is the fourth highest-paid S in NFL history.

Darnold to the 49ers

@AdamSchefter
49ers reached agreement on a one-year deal with former Panthers’ QB Sam Darnold, per source.

Bears are giving former Bills’ LB Tremaine Edmunds a 4-yr, $72M that includes $50M guaranteed, per source. It is the largest 4-year contract for an inside linebacker in the NFL.
WTF did Rodgers do? So does this mean he is staying in GB?

He's not, there are reports that he'll likely go to the Jets, but GB has pretty much moved on from him (a year or two too late if you ask me).

Jets are gathering all of Rodgers former receivers:

@AdamSchefter
With the Jets closing in on a deal for WR Allen Lazard, another WR expected to be on their radar in the coming days of free agency is Packers’ veteran Randall Cobb, per league sources.

What in the ayahuasca is going on here?!?!

@diannaESPN
Aaron Rodgers has provided the NY Jets with a wish-list of free agents he would like them to target and acquire, per sources.
It includes Randall Cobb, Allen Lazard, Marcedes Lewis and….Odell Beckham Jr.

Re: Around the NFL - 2023 Offseason Thread

Honestly, AR has to be the biggest diva in the NFL right now. And meanwhile, by continuing to sit on the fence, he's leaving both the packers and Jets in limbo -- the Packers don't know what they're going to do about their cap with his number hanging over them, and the Jets don't know if they have a QB or what it will cost them. Watch him retire and completely screw over both teams. What a head case.

Jets receivers are much better than this group.

Odell, really?

No argument here. Narcissistic jerk. A shame for someone with HOF talent to go so far off the rails.
