What you forgot to mention was the ball first bounced off a wide open guy that he was covering who had already gone for 8 catches, 175 yards and three scores. |

Re: Pregame Thread - Commanders v Eagles
Lot's of good posts on here about JDR. Agree with this 100.
I don't think he's in over his head or his defensive style is outdated, I believe the biggest issue is communication and relationships. I also believe, like others, he won't be fired anytime soon so RR can fire him later to appease the critics. I'm really curious about what's going on behind the scenes. JDR has been around long enough to know you don't "coach" players in the press. Saying what he did about Davis publicly, burns any relationship down immediately and permanently. What's baffling and without explanation is RR backing JDR up the next day and seemingly pushing it further by saying something about Davis not having much time. Seems extremely dysfunctional.

Re: Pregame Thread - Commanders v Eagles
I think many of us do, it seems totally contrary to the "accountability culture" Ron repeatedly tells us he is trying to build. If Davis is not putting in effort you let him ride the bench for a while to get his attention. If he is not accountable or has a giant ego (neither of which I have heard) you talk very directly to him and have the team captains do the same. Their comments in the media seem to indicate some serious buyers remorse about making that pick

Re: Pregame Thread - Commanders v Eagles
Best news I’ve heard, Jackson has a back injury and might not play. Put his ass on IR for the rest of the season, he fucking sucks!!

Re: Pregame Thread - Commanders v Eagles
I get where you're coming from. But except 4th round pick Percy Butler I don't know even know the name of any of our current back up CBs. So I'm not sure WJ3's unavailability is a a good news.

Re: Pregame Thread - Commanders v Eagles
You gotta figure out some way to record the game, then just watch it when you wake up.

So, after seeing our defense play without WJ3, would you say it's better or worse if he sits?

Re: Pregame Thread - Commanders v Eagles
My condolences Frenchie. I'd be pissed AF if I woke up super early on the weekend to watch my squad get their asses kicked.
