I wouldn’t want to limited to watching on my laptop and DirecTv can’t work at my house as we have sequoias that block the direction the signal needs to go. Alas.

Back to the team, they really must make some personnel changes based on everything I’m reading. I don’t understand the any hesitation. Could it be worse in the secondary?

I have the same tree issue, like I said get the online SundayTicket subscription, get an HDMI cable from your laptop to your TV and you are watching it on the big screen. I’ll even come help you if you want.

Re: The Bad Coaching, Offense, and Defense Post-Game Thread

I think the best player today for Washington was Dustin Hopkins. That says everything we need to know.

Pretty much the way I thought this game would play out. The defense played a little better overall, but they gave up their signature big plays, and couldn't overcome the struggles on the offensive side.

It was a game that they absolutely should have won, but 0 touchdowns, 2 interceptions (probably should have been 5), less than 50% completion percentage... hard to win with QB play like that.

I hope all the Heinicke lovers have come back to reality. Every single game that he has played could have turned out just like this one. You can dismiss all the dropped interceptions, and say that every quarterback does that, but he does it at a rate that is unacceptable. He has been lucky, and luck like that is unsustainable. I don't care how f'n gritty he is, he is not the long term solution, period.

Re: The Bad Coaching, Offense, and Defense Post-Game Thread

Call me crazy. But I enjoyed the game. Fun to watch. And I kinda feel a bit better about this team, not worse.
That's not saying much because I was as down as can be, even after our 2 wins. Our D hadn't shown anything so far.

I told you guys we were facing a good defense, and a solid DL.
So I'm not really mad at Heinicke, we know who he is right now, we know facing good defenses he's gonna make mistakes. He still made some nice plays.

Put the blown coverage and the Hail Mary aside for 20 sec (I'll come back to it), and I don't think our D played that bad. They made some stops, our DL made more plays than the previous weeks. CY had a decent game. Payne was on fire, again.

Now.

Let's get back to those 2 plays...

And to whom I'm mad at: LANDON EFFIN COLLINS and KYLE FREAKIN FULLER. Those 2 pieces of shit are not even allowed to lick my balls. They get to eat my turd after a KFC meal and a massive hangover.

If Ron is real about culture and accountability, they are getting benched/cut this week. This secondary is a burning pile of garbage. Juste, Curl, McTyer are ok. WJ3 is struggling but gets a couple of weeks before final judgement in my book. But Fuller and Collins can burn in football hell as far as I'm concerned. Unacceptable. Elevate Reaves, get him and Everett on the field. Try Darryl Roberts. And Moreland too... Oh no that's right we cut him because who needs one of the best slot CB in the league by many advanced stats ?!

Regarding Collins - he is a pile of 💩 no question. But at this point I blame the coaches for putting him out there. He sucked BEFORE he got hurt. Now he is worse yet they keep trotting him out there. That is on Ron and Del Rio. Is it cause he makes a lot? I don't get it.

He gets a pass imo. For his first season at least. Some guys are drafted because they're athletic, some because they're smart. The best ones are drafted for both.

We knew he was a project when we took him, but his strength is his athleticism. Now he just needs time to develop.

Week to week I still think he's getting better, but there are gonna be some bad weeks mixed in.

I will admit Heineken is probably not the guy when you admit Rivera probably isn’t either. Lol

Heinicke was put in terrible positions by Turner repeatedly. That said had he hit the wide open receiver on the first drive and kept that alive, and we went up 7-0 maybe he doesn't get as rattled later. I do wonder if Samuel's groin injury had something to do with the pass at the endzone, like it was a come back throw and Samuel's couldn't cut back. Seemed like the throw to Patterson in an earlier game where Patterson came back to the ball.

A couple errant throws, but better play calling and a defense that didn't give up 14 free points and we win that game with Heinicke at qb.

One last thing, did anyone think that if the defense made a stop on the last drive Heinicke could not have gotten the go ahead score. I know I felt like he could.

Said it once and I will say it again. Either 90 percent of our team stinks or our staff does. I pray it is the staff. I know it is the staff. We got holes just like any other team but our coaches shine a light on our weaknesses. They are turning a 7-9 win team into a 2-3 win team.

I'm with you. At some point if guys getting paid millions can't remember a quarter defense 5 weeks in a row it's on the staff. Some thing(s) ain't done right...
