Re: Dallass Postgame Version 1
I agree...havent seen a history of ill plays like that. Maybe it was a 1 off. I dont think we should cut him or anything.....but that play was dirty and may well have resulted in a concusion. Nooo bueno. Also, things in gsme im sure get heated and people do things occasionally that are in the moment. Like....i think wr/secondary play should be let go more, but hitting sliding qbs needs to be punished.
Aside from that, I can see allen as a alex smith 2.0. Maybe better. I like the kid. Like I said.....not a world beater....but if he can stop turning the ball over I think he's more than competent in this system. Today was a good day.

Allen better not be the guy. Lol. He is the stop gap. Against a terrible team with a terrible defense he played well. But we need to address the position in a big way. As for not top ten draft picks that pan out well id say that the numbers show it is usually a top 5 guy. If we can get one later that is what makes teams real winners. With our history of drafting quarterbacks im not gonna hold my breath. It would be absolutely awesome to hit on a quarterback outside the first round and address the o line in the first though. |

https://www.radio.com/thefandc/sport...trade-deadline
Washington Football could be sellers at the trade deadline and they will listen to offers on some veteran players, according to The MMQB’s Albert Breer. Breer reported Sunday, Washinton will listen to trade calls and two names that have come up were veteran defensive ends Ryan Kerrigan and Ryan Anderson. I would move both

Anderson is just the odd man out on a crowded depth chart. As many holes as we have, it makes sense to move him if we get a decent offer. Kerrigan has given us everything and I love what he brings to the team in his current role, and he deserves to retire here for his play and his leadership. But if we get a good offer, with as many holes as we have, all bets are off.

Moving them would be for picks. We would be the sellers because we are not a few moves away from serious contention. If we were we would be trading draft picks for pieces. |

Re: Dallass Postgame Version 1
This. I don't want to see Kerrigan go, but imagine we got 3 or 4 decent picks for them both. Could be 1 draft from competitive instead of 2.

Re: Dallass Postgame Version 1
Picks make sense. Wasn't even thinking of that. I just dont see (on a personal level) picks that would make me ok with it. The selfish part of my Fandom still don't want to see rk go, esp for like a 5th. If he does go, I will get his jersey and wear it proudly, pretty immediately.

Re: Dallass Postgame Version 1
Mike McCarthy was the dumbest fucking hire possible.
Jerry and Danny Boy are in a permanent race to the bottom of the ownership barrel.

Trade Allen and Ryan K. Resign Settle. We have 5 first round picks on the DLine. Jon Allen is in his 4th year and will demand big money soon. |

Bullshit. We are back in the divisional race baby!!! JK. You're 100% right. Cowboys already quit on McCarthy.
