Re: Philly postgame week 1
What about him? No surprise from me, he and Fuller should be the starters.

Re: Philly postgame week 1
What can say? I didnt get to see game but heard the score was 17-0 so all hope was lost then, thought final would be 41-12 or something similar,so to come back and win was pretty impressive.I saw someone mention the gandy golden kid,I had forgot about him,did he play and if not why not?
And couldnt help but notice A Pterson kicking ass for Lions today

Re: Philly postgame week 1
Yeah I don't think he had a bad game at all. After an awful start by the whole team he was pretty good while being pressured on most plays. The fact that he got the leadership to make a halftime speech after a mediocre first half is inspiring.

It was actually after the first two minutes, and I wasnt alone lol. I might have been the ring leader though. You should know you cant take game threads at face. I said ill eat crow, and honestly im still extremely worried about our offense and our secondary and middle linebackers. The d line which is clearly our strength was up against a completely decimated o line too. Ill up my 3 win season to 5. |

But I disagree on the secondary: Moreland and Moreau are really good IMO. Fuller should be back soon and we know what he's capable of. Darby looked a bit slow but every body looker bad early in the game. Collins looks like he's back to being him. Only question mark is Apke. The guy is fast but that's about it, bad vision, bad angles... I like our LBs squad. Bostic is a tough mofo, SDH has talent, I still don't get why KPL got the starting job over Holcomb but he wasn't awful either.

Re: Philly postgame week 1
Here is my main takeaway from yesterday. We beat a division team, and Dallas lost to a team on our schedule that we play at home. That's a great day and a great way to start the new era of Washington Football.

I think our secondary benefited big time from Wentz getting his dick knocked in the dirt. That was due yes to our front 7 but also due to that o line. They are missing every good olineman they have. Next week will be more of a true measuring stick...., Bostic is tough but we need an upgrade there. They are not quick enough to cover in the passing game. |

I love it. I think im so used to calling for heads in there that the past 30 years got the best of me. I enjoy SD alot. He is usually equally as pissed off but his cursing is just awesome. Total comedy in there but good place to vent so you dont kick your dog. |

I saw some good and some bad with blocking from Moses as well as Thomas. Thomas wiffed on 2 run blocks where their could have big gains. Second level blocking was extremely iffy yesterday...
