Gates game time decision, I bet he plays
http://www.nfl.com/teams/story/SD/9059925
The Chargers probably won't know until right before kickoff Nov. 27 whether record-setting tight end Antonio Gates will be able to play against the Washington Redskins. Even if Gates doesn't practice this week, there's still a chance he could play, coach Marty Schottenheimer said. Schottenheimer used to have a rule that if a player didn't practice during the week, he didn't play. "That old rule, that's part of the things that I've changed as I've grown older and -- in the minds of some -- soft," Schottenheimer joked. Unfortunately I have to assume that he'll play. I can't see him sitting out. Either way containment of L.T. is still my #1 priority on sunday. |

Re: Gates game time decision, I bet he plays
As long as Sean Taylor is playing I hope Gates plays. Our problem hasn't been containing the superstars, it's been containing the 2# and 3# wideouts. That's sad. Shame on Walt Harris.
