Alex Smith is not the same type of QB as KC, He's a game manager that takes very few chances but we all knew that... My question is who else did we have to bring in??? Case Keenum? Yeah no thanks. Jay Gruden this off season "We are built to win now, Alex just has to step in and do the job" HAHA Dude is a fucking fool. First of all our best player on offense this yr has been AD and he wasn't even here when Jay made that comment. 2nd of all , we have no #1 WR to throw too, might as well cut Doc now. Reed and Davis are both good TEs but nothing special. The defense is solid when we play a one dimensional offense.

I’m actually cool with bringing in Bryant. The team is fucked anyway. Might as well.

Kirk didn't want to be here and I cant blame him, we had no other options man. Colt Mccoy? Cmon. Alex has been solid before last night.

Alex isn't a QB that's going to win you many shoot-outs, especially in an offense he's clearly not fully comfortable in yet and with a OL that didn't give him solid protection.

I would much rather have had Case Keenum and kept Fuller and a 3rd rounder, I’ve seen plentyl of Smith and he’s no better than Case.

Re: Post Dumpster Fire...er Skins vs. Saints Thread
Okay so how many think we will win next game ?? I actually get on here because some of you are optimistic and actually gave me some hope ... but the ugly truth is this is not a good team much less a playoff team .. now I’m sure some will say we can win the nfc east well keep dreaming .. this team has a coach that if fired today would be fine with me! The Cleveland browns right now are in a much better place than the redskins ..but I along with you guys will still tune in and pull for team but maybe the best thing to do is walk away let it hit rock bottom with empty stands and maybe just maybe dan will fire this staff including Bruce and get a real GM to turn it around

Re: Post Dumpster Fire...er Skins vs. Saints Thread
Fuller hasn't been great at all this yr either, their Offense carries that team. Alex is far better than Keenum, we cant overreact after 1 bad night

Re: Post Dumpster Fire...er Skins vs. Saints Thread
Carolina, Dallas , NYG and ATL
All are winnable games. If we can manage to go 3-1 in that span we can set up a playoff run.. 3 of 4 at home (which means nothing) but still

Re: Post Dumpster Fire...er Skins vs. Saints Thread
Aren’t you the one who said this was a great trade and Smith is better than Cousins? That’s over reacting.

Re: Post Dumpster Fire...er Skins vs. Saints Thread
It was a great trade considering we needed a QB. I wanted Kirk all along as I said on here a bunch but we all knew he wasn't staying. But SF who else could we have gone out and signed? Sam Bradford? We had no choice. Alex will bounce back

Re: Post Dumpster Fire...er Skins vs. Saints Thread
We are still in first, the drubbing was terrible, but the overreaction is just that, overreaction. AS is a winning qb, and will bounce back. Our line seems worse against pressure than it ought to be, but still I think it is one of the top lines.
Our defense made some boneheaded plays early, and Gruden is far far better with a lead than when he gets behind. That's just the way it is. Makes it tough in shootout matches |
