hopefully he'll stay engaged, learn the system from the meeting room, tape, and sidelines, and come back strong next year.

If the Redskins consider free agent running backs, some of the notable names available include:
* Adrian Peterson
* Orleans Darkwa
* Jamaal Charles
* Alfred Morris
All these guys have problems. We may be better off with a full back concept with a scat back or 2 and just replace them when injured

Either make a trade or roll with what we’ve got, nothing but JAG’s on the street

Same boat. Sadness. That’s all I got.

Make a trade? Who on this team other than the obvious studs is worth a damn? Are you going to give up another promising young defensive player? It is too early to say what they will do, but I would just stay pat. Whoever they get most likely will be not worth it and will not help the team in a significant way. Fat Rob should have been dropped after last season. All in all, the Skins were not expected to challenge for the division crown much less the playoffs. It looks like it will be all college football this season for me.

I'm beginning to think that we are cursed by the football gods because of our team name.

The Patriots drafted Sony Michel and they have:
Rex Burkhead
James White,
Mike Gillislee
and Jeremy Hill

Might be able to either trade for or get Hill or Gillislee when cut

Re: Guice out for season

Those saying trades won’t help, the Eagles got Jay Ajayi for a song (4th rounder in this past draft) in the middle of last season. Don’t dismiss the possibility. If Bruce and Gruden throw up their hands and just say next man up without at least exploring the opportunities we’d all have a right to call for some heads.

That Ajayi trade is one of the reasons Roseman won executive of the year. Does this team want to be great or not? Find a way.

I don't have any faith in a front office that thought that Matt Jones or Samaje Perine was the answer at RB, yet passed on a talent like Kareem Hunt when he was there for the taking in Round 3 last year.

One guy rumored who was on the trade block was Chicago’s jordan Howard...this around the draft.

He is someone I would absolutely trade for...

Another guy who I may call about is mark Ingram...

I'd rather keep the guys we have then sign Johny Hasbeen off the street. Make a trade or stand pat.

Re: Guice out for season

I don't know if it's (A) possible or (B) insane, but what about working with the steelers to give LeVeon Bell a 2 year blockbuster deal, and give the Steelers Spaight and a 2nd.

Like I said, this is the desperation talking, not necessarily sane or possible thoughts, but like Kirk wanted out of here, maybe we can do something with Le'veon's desire to get paid. Giving him a 2 year deal would let us see if Guice can rehab back and give Bell a quick turnaround to the open market.
