Oh fuck that! Let's not let other teams mistake intelligence with passiveness. I've already told myself that even if I were to get offered a ticket I wouldn't be able to make it to the game because I'd be arrested before I got in. Right now, I'm taking a no-holds-barred approach to Eagles fans and YES I'm grouping them all in the same category: assholes.

This type of shit (for me anyway) is transcending my previous ideal that sports fans should never get violent, but this is a fight that honestly I'm willing to physically fight back. If I were up there, I GUARANTEE you that more than one shit-talking Eagles fan would be laid out (or I'd go to jail trying).

I think we can let them know they aren't at home without resorting to violence or thuggery. You should all be poigniantly aware that there is nothing the staff of FedEx would rather do than remove an Eagles fan from the stadium. If someone starts assing up, flag an usher. After teargas incidents two years ago, and numerous shoving matches every year, stadium officials are at zero tolerance.

Re: Eagles.com "take over Fedex"

That's good to hear. It would be sweet to have an exodus of Eagles fans leaving the stadium for being assholes.

Re: Eagles.com "take over Fedex"

Hopefully, since we are still in contention and it's earlier in the season there will be less Eagle fans there. Last year it was lousy with Eagle fans but that game was in December and we were pretty much out of contention. We are probably always going to have to deal with large numbers of eagle fans at our games, becasue Philly is close to DC and we also have a 92,000 seat stadium which means more tickets out there to fall into the wrong hands.

Honestly, I'd rather have no opposing fans in our house and be considered TRULY "bush league" than be Mr. Nice Guy and have it almost be a home game for the opposing team.

I can't believe that anyone wants to emulate the classless Philadelphia fans. Is it a coincedence that they haven't won anything? Classless fans = no titles?

Doesn't matter. This is where my hate for douchebags rises above what people think about me.

Re: Eagles.com "take over Fedex"

And I'm not saying emulate, I'm saying let the Eagles fans KNOW that if they come with that shit, they're going to get met with it.

It's about protecting our house, because if we get an advantage by having more B&G in the seats then I'll sacrifice some standards for it.

Re: Eagles.com "take over Fedex"

I dunno, it just doesn't seem right that someone would go above verbal harassment toward an opposing teams fan. But I hate Eagles fans as well. This one is a toss up...

Re: Eagles.com "take over Fedex"

Yeah, it's all about the hate that's brewing within my soul. Normally I'm a level-headed person and would NEVER escalate something like that over a SPORTS team.

But still, you kind of have to speak people's language sometimes.
