As for Vegas, I think we have risen slightly above Cleveland level, but we still haven't had a playoff win since '05, so I can understand their skepticism. I would like to think with all the changes, and all the stability, we have a good few years for certain on the horizon, but the team still has to put it all together and be consistent about it. |

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
Bovada just came out with the over under season win totals.
We are at 7. Their number on us last year was 7.5. The super bowl odds are kinda a long shot bet. The over under is a much better indicator of what Vegas thinks. I don't believe 7 is a huge slight. I think we will go over. I did last year too and was so pissed after the giants game if you know what I mean. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
It looks like 4 compensatory draft picks in 2019.

"The highest compensatory pick a team can get is a third rounder and that is what Washington will get for losing Kirk Cousins to the Vikings. His new contract averages $28 million per year, by far the highest of any UFA that changed teams. That should land the Redskins a pick near the top of the stack of the seven third-round selections awarded, almost assuring them a comp pick in the top 100. In addition, the Redskins will get a fifth-round pick for losing OL Spencer Long and two sixth-round selections for losing WRs Ryan Grant and Terrell Pryor" Pretty awesome we get compensation for garbage like Ryan Grant and Terrell Pryor. That being said...outside of Interior Oline questions which are 100% legit with starters at LG and C...WR has the be the second area of the team Im moderately worried about. Our coaching there has been poor to match the performance of the group. Make or break for Doctson and Crowder, done with both if no improvement with either. |

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
We might need WR as well if Doctson doesn't do much this year

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
We also need Paul Richardson to come in and do what he got paid for, stretch the field so crowder and doctson can work underneath.

Re: Redskins Offseason Thread
Doug Williams getting some love. What do you think of this quote, is this a good thing or a bad thing?
"Just like in 2017, the Redskins had an excellent draft, but they don't get a lot of credit for it because their staff doesn't lobby the national media to give them praise like other teams and general mangers." Read more:*http://walterfootball.com/draft2018a...#ixzz5F1hwhRU3 Also, All over Twitter, they're letting Scott Campbell go, apparently Kyle Smith was given some of his responsibilities for this draft and likely is getting promoted. With speculation about Bruce leaving soon, I could see a front office change up in which Dougie Dubs becomes GM or President or whatever and Kyle Smith becomes VP player personnel or whatever they decide to call everything.
