Need to look up Smiths record in opening games. Hopefully he can overcome Grudens standard 0-1.

He is 6-2 since 2010, including 3-0 the last 3 seasons. Hopefully his streak beats Gruden's

I hate it when this team starts off in a hole every year. It seems in the past three or four years (maybe even longer), it takes the Redskins about two or three games to figure out they need to play some ball and stop playing scared. Hopefully Alex will be a great influence on them this year.

Easier to go 10-6, than 10-5. Starting in a hole EVERY season is not OK.

The 3rd point is simply a time element rephrased to get rid of the word "time".

But I think getting rid of the "surviving the ground" part is a really good thing.
