Why would Cousins agree to this?? Makes zero sense. And this article was out before the trade went down. |

Re: Redskins trade for Alex Smith
Been reading there was a bidding war in the trade for Smith. Makes me wonder what the Chiefs said 'no' to before they accepted the Skins offer of draft pick and a slot DB.

they have a great slot wr (hill), a great te and a great rb (pass catching and running) . . . we have a damn good slot wr ourselves (crowder), a great te when healthy (caveat on when healthy) and thompson as our pass catching rb . . . just need a rb for running purposes, but we are not far off offensive talent wise from kansas city . . . and i still think docston will be a damn good wr too . . . KC was afraid to throw to him even when he was WIDE open |

Re: Redskins trade for Alex Smith
Reed isn't Kelce only because hes made of glass, BUT we do have VDAVIS and I think they'll add another TE this OS. We need a RB bad, Perine is a good backup and CT is a scat back, we dont have a guy that scares anyone.

Re: Redskins trade for Alex Smith
Weren't the Chiefs a playoff team last season with a RB by committee and not much in terms of receiving weapons (except Kelce)?

Re: Redskins trade for Alex Smith
EDIT: Looking over the twitter, I'm not sure that actually is Alex Smith's.
Sorry for the fake news LOL I know people said for the longest time that KC's Twitter feed didnt mean anything (looking at S10 here) but look at Alex Smith's: ![]() https://twitter.com/QBAlex_Smith He's photoshopped himself (although kinda looks like KC) and his main image is the Skins offense on the sideline. KC's has said "Business Inquiries: Luke Munson luke@lwsports.net" ![]() There is a huge difference. |
