The best we do as skins fans now is yell "GO BRONCOS" and hope for some help... i sure hope we prepare better this coming week against Philly or we could be in for a worse spanking than what we got today

Anymore it's going to be understood that the skins are going to get the raw end of the bad calls. After the Denver game Gibbs was fined for comments directed towards the horrid officiating so we might as well consider ourselves a marked team. With that said, the referees did not kick the ball through the uprights 5 or 6 times today, nor did they run the ball into the end zone for the Giants. We were easily our own worst enemy and played poorly on both sides of the ball. There will be some hard practicing and long nights watching films this week and I think we will be much better prepared for the Eagles because Gibbs will not let a slaughter like this happen again.

You let one division loss shake your confidence? Not me. I'm convinced this was clearly an emotional win that the Redskins did not prepare for. We are going to win our divisonal games at home. We just take it out on the Eagles.

Re: Redskins @ Giants game thread 10.30.05

The whole team sucked today. No excuses. I haven't seen a whipping that bad since we played Dallas in 2003. What the fuck was going on out there? 9 yards for Portis on 4 carries? they dominated us in every aspect of the game. Joe Gibbs better start getting angry real soon. Nobody saw this coming. Our defense hasn't played this bad since the spurrier days. There isn't a single positive thing you can take out of this game. I think our guys got a little too happy from the SF game.

Maybe they thought that because Ramsey replaced him. Ramsey replaced him last week because the game was over in the third. If for any other reason they are hippocrites.

He played has well as any QB could play under that pressure from the Giants all day. The Redskins did not prepare to play an emotional Giants team who needed this divisional game more than anyone in the division. This loss exposed our rush defense big time. We have not really discussed how weak it is against the run. The last 4 games have shown this. Even San Francisco ran one 78 yards. This is Greg Williams defense. He has to find a way to stop this East-West running style that every team now knows is our weakness.

The pressure is on Coach Williams to get this shit together.

Re: Redskins @ Giants game thread 10.30.05

This was a total team loss. No running game, which is our bread and butter. No passing game because of the constant pressure Brunell was on. Turnovers, penalties. Everything broke down today. We can't place the blame on one person. We lost the battle in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

If anyone here is blaming this on one person they're crazy. Everyone played really, really bad. Hopefully this is a wake up call for us.....
