No inspiration at all last night. The most lackluster I have seen this team in a long time. There is definitely a lack of talent all over the place, especially on defense, but at least they have looked as though they are trying to win. Up until last night. Carolina looked like the home team in control of their own destiny, beating up on a team that has given up on the season.

This is the first game that I can remember in quite a while that multiple things kept breaking their way and they just couldn't capitalize. Two calls reversed on challenges, personal foul NOT called on Murphy, the "uncatchable" pass call, and more...

This team may not win another game, which is really ok because after last night they don't deserve to sniff the post season.

That is exactly how I feel.
We can't do the basics well.
In fact we suck at them:
We can not stop the run AND we can not run the ball.
The middle of our defense is soft and terrible.
Our safeties, ILB's and 3/4 of our d-lineman are not good.
The missed tackles was high school shit.
How many more times will we see Trent Murphy or Preston Smith miss a tackle or fail to keep gap containment on a running play? Happens every game.
Matrell Spaight was step behind every play last night.

I am not seeing the reward of making the playoffs, when we are playing the way we are. We want to watch out team get humiliated again on National TV?
The truth us we lost to a bad Carolina team last night and we should have lost to a terrible Philly team last week. I know after the Philly game that we are not playing well right now.

I almost posted today "Oh Matrell Spaight was god aweful" but decided not too. But he was pretty bad.

Right, Carolina is a bad team...their secondary isn't great and they haven't stop really anybody. BUT they played much tougher than we did on defense and the oline. It was total attitude and will over our effort.

I hate being out-physicaled...but we were in every facet. We got bullied and it was embarrassing.

I made the Cleveland comment based on How bad the Team played last night ..Of course we are better than The Browns but if we waive every player that folks say we should then we may as well switch with the Browns. I don't understand what makes anyone think Cousins will be expecting less money just because he had a few below-average performances? He has played very well this season and last, if he doesn't get the big contract here he will get it elswhere.

Unless he completely shits the bed over the last two weeks, the price tag for Kirk isn't going anywhere but up. Certainly didn't move based on last night's performance, or the last couple of weeks for that matter.
