Dude u can't make that comment, which was exactly what I was talking about "hating", and then back track. Your are directly implying the Giants wouldn't want Norman and your satisfaction of Jenkins.

You know the Rams chose trumaine Johnson and let their #2 corner walk. The Rams did this...the Rams.

There's no way the Giants gave Vernon a good contract. That was an overpay. He's averaging like 17 million a year?? LOL. C'mon, where is the proof in his past production demands that kind of salary? Jenkins is now the second or third highest paid corner in the league. Sorry but he's not the 2nd or 3rd best corner.

There is no way that either of these two will live up to the expectations of their salaries. We see it every year in free agency and this year will be no different.

I agree Norman is a huge addition. This changes how we play defense. We will dictate to offenses.
It will be interesting to see how Culliver is physically and if we keep him. If Culliver and Kysheon Jarret can bounce back from injuries, our secondary will be really strong.
The drafting of ready to play Defensive Lineman is now critical for this whole thing to work well.
Incredible how a capable GM and few years changes things. It is great to have a FO that finally understands that a great Defense can get you to the playoffs and more. Defense and a strong O-line.

No and if Carolina wanted him they would have paid him. Many teams felt his season was more the benefit result of a great front seven .

I agree we see it every year to say it will happen to these two (Jenkins and Norman) I don't know and if we are honest I hope Jenkins does and Norman doesn't but who knows and that is my point.
Jerry Reese is desperate and so I understand the contracts.
Giants 6-10 in 2015 seven of those ten loss's were in the last seventy seconds of the game becuase the Giants couldn't stop Shit! Not hard to understand why you would spend on D .If those new signed players stop those types of loss's then they are good contracts.
I have already said Norman was a good signing for the Skins I fully understand it but don't try and justify it by saying every team in the league wanted him because it just isn't so,not at the numbers he wanted. If the Skins repeat and even advance in the playoffs it's a good signing same with the Giants if they don't then Reese is gone and we start over as will the Redskins.

Well the anticipation is that we will upgrade our Dline in the draft. This wasn't a move in search of a plan. We were going to address a corner in the draft, this takes that out and allows us to focus more on the spine and safeties. Maybe he doesn't turn in an all pro year with our line but he solidifies the part without having to spend draft picks on CB.
As for Carolina spending money, they aren't a deep pockets team a la the skins or Dallas. They let Steve smith sr go and they have let others go as well. That other teams passed might say something but I do think the skins the skins have always found ways to get the guys they want. That isn't bad (unless your owner is petty and jealous aka Mara)

You are right! The Redskins have always found a way to get the guy they want not necessarily what they need though as per Albert Haynsworth.Carolina did let Steve Smith go after a pretty long and great career not true with Norman.I find it pretty amusing that the Skins fans blame even bad weather on John Mara.

I trust the person selecting which players they want a thousand times more than anytime since DS bought the team.
We finally have:
a coach focused on coaching
A GM focused on player selection
A cap management core
And an owner who sits back and pays the bills

It looks to be a good time for skins fans.

You've been getting a bit trollish lately over Mara. Be a good guest and behave yourself.

Well we basically just got a an additional first round pick dropped right in our laps.
A few of the top mockers and myself included had us taking a cornerback in the first round.
I guess I can shed my man crush on Eli Apple now.
Now we have free range to focus on DTs, and safetys and centers and such.

Good story of how Norman ended up here. This is how ballers do it.

Snyder wasn't involved at all...nowhere to be seen, so hopefully the media will let it die.

"Same old redskins " is stupid for anyone to say. This organization isn't ran the same as it was 10 years ago.

Id love to see DT at 21 but I also think trading down is a good move as well.
DT
C
Safety
WR.

Thats what I'd like to see addressed this draft
