Walking Dead Season 5

Spoilers! Highlight to read:

Glad to see the group back together. And yo, ol dude from season 1 or 2 or whatever is back! The one who had the walker wife who tried to come back to the house.

Only question that remains, where the fuck is Beth?

Honestly, that was one of the best openers for a show I've seen in a while. Was AWESOME.

Re: Walking Dead Season 5

Can we just agree that there might be spoilers regarding the most recent episode of the show and that people who aren't caught up are reading at their own risk?

I loved this premiere! I totally thought that while Terminus seemed interesting enough, it was going to be dragged out through the whole half season, and that it was going to be like 3-4 episodes of Hostel: The Walking Dead Edition.
I like how they sort of implied that Rick's group could have easily turned in the Termites had they stayed at the prison long enough, but that they're still trying to hold on to at least some sense of morals. It will be interesting to see how long that last.

And finally, it's nice to have Maggie back.

I also noticed that Maggie seemed to find a shirt that was extra low cut in her scavenging trips.

Good opener, glad they got Terminus over and done with right off the bat. I was worried they would string that out a few episodes. Can't wait for the showdown with the people that originally tried to take Terminus.

R.I.P. Bob's leg.

p.s. I don't know what Gabriel is hiding but I bet he's some crazy creeper as well. I get the vibe he used his parishioners as bait or some shit.

I was kind of thinking the same thing. I don't think he's evil, per se, but I think he locked them out of the church and kept all of the food for himself rather than providing sanctuary, and now he's racked with guilt.

I wonder if Bob is still going to be good at this little 'find the good in the bad' game he was playing with Sasha. Somehow I doubt it.

Re: Walking Dead Season 5

Is this season any good?

(I kind of lost interest in the show when they went to the prison, the show started to get boring at that point)

Just wondering if its worthwhile picking up again (and if I can skip some of the boring eps)

Interesting thought. I wonder if that would do anything to the hunters currently chowing down on his leg?
Then again, if everyone is already infected and they've been eating people for awhile they should probably be okay.

I thought he was bit as well. But now I really don't know. And I guess doesn't matter as it looks like Bob is going to be a week's worth of dinner.

Also, did you guys catch a glimpse of the dude Tyreese said he killed but obviously didn't. Tyreese gets the L for wimping out and letting the dude live.

Yeah I thought T bashed that guys face in?

Rick was right, they should have went back and killed them all. They will eventually of course, after they lose a few group members.

Re: Walking Dead Season 5

Episode 1 was really good and too the point.
I hope they don't go back to 7 episodes of scavenging in the woods before a big finale.

They need a change of scenery. Hopefully they can find a big city and bring some new unknowns to the show.

And whatever the crew used to make Bob's leg, looked DELICIOUS.

Re: Walking Dead Season 5

I'm definitely ready for a big city. Personally, I'd love to see them on the move in cars a lot going between different states/terrains, etc. Maybe even another country?
