34th Overall Pick
Quote:
Take a break? Dont know what you mean. As far as your comment about needing to take an olineman with our first pick who did you have in mind? I know you havent analyzed them but qualified individuals have and Moses and Richardson are getting high marks. Edit: you seemed to be against the idea of passing on a 2nd round olineman for a third. Im just pointing out two of the obvious OT's that will be there in those spots. |

Re: 34th Overall Pick
The worst, Worst, WORST, WOOOORRRRRRSSSSSTTTTTT thing the Redskins can do is take a player at a a position "of need" at #34 (such as Right Tackle) when that player doesn't deserve to be taken that high, just to say they "filled a need"

34th Overall Pick

Agreed to an extent. I just feel like RG-3's health is a huuuuuge "need". This is why I would be thrilled if they went best available at say ilb or dback - at 34 and than snatch up a guy like Antonio Richardson in the third. I also think Seantrel Hendersen out of the U could be a real surprise. Edit: i think you have to mesh best available with filling a need to have a great draft. Edit : hendersen would of course be a late round pick. |

Re: 34th Overall Pick
Basically I am good to go with any position on defense, and if a stud O player is there at 34 we should be prepared to draft him.

I know all about him. Dont have to read the link. He smoked some weed and had a car accident. Who hasnt? Lol. I firmly believe he has matured enough to make a career for himself in the NFL. If he gets the rite people around him and a chance he can be an absolutely dominant player in the NFL. With our need at the position, he could be well worth a 5-6 round pick. |

the guy could not finish his pro day, and was suspended 3 times at Miami.. ... just wait until he gets some money. Someone will take a chance on him, the Redskins cannot afford to. Miami tackle Seantrel Henderson can’t finish workout | ProFootballTalk |

Plenty of players who have had bad pro days or a run of trouble that worked out. Plenty who were perfect at pro day and did not work out. Hey Im saying draft him in the 5-6 round. If he doesnt cut it in camp than he doesnt cut it. In the late rounds the risk is low. |

Re: 34th Overall Pick
no problem with that, who would you have mentoring him ?
.................................................. .......... Alfred Morris was a 6th round pick, I would take my chances on finding another player who is humble, and hungry |

34th Overall Pick
Well see if you believe in him you draft him late. Who is to say someone else wont or that someone else wont offer him a FA contract? Edit: i bet alot of teams are kicking themselves now for not drafting Vontaze Burfict. |
