God is a powerful cat, he could make it happen, all kidding aside, I'm talking more like some guy that should have been drafted like 20-33 that somehow fell and is way obvious that he is BPA.

Oh, I know it won't, just saying if it did. Benjamin I like at 6'5" 230 lbs I guess, there is just something about him that is like "hmmmmm" to me.

Also, on an unrelated note, Daniel McClusters from Tennessee is a guy I like in the 3rd or so. 6'8" 350lb NT.
That is a MASSIVE man. Jeezus. Cofield can play whatever along the line, so if we got a giant NT, I'd be OK with it (if someone fell, not targeting it).

And I love Sammy Watkins. HATE what he always did against VT though. Guy is a straight baller and it seems like we're seeing a ton of can't-miss WR prospects the last few years.

Not saying he wouldn't be great, but the games I saw of him were very "Hankerson"-y. People kept calling Hank a long plodder and I see that in Benjamin. Now, hands-wise, Benjamin is AWESOME and is way more physical than Hank.

Re: 34th Overall Pick

Both those guys might be gone by the time the skins pick.

Hopefully the skins just pick the best player almost regardless of position, because the skins need help everywhere.

I still think if it comes down to a linemen or a reviever, the skins better go with the linemen.

That is what I was thinking too. There are times when he doesn't look like the best WR on his team, but looks dominant other times. Like I said he is 6'5" 230lbs, that is a big physical boy and supposedly he runs in the 4.4 range, so he has the makings of a star I just dont know.

Yeah, that is a big big man, and he makes me feel small, and I am a shade under 6'5."

I think Benjamin made more plays than hank did but also had a way better Qb so it's kinda hard to tell

Benjamin's biggest problem is his poor route running. He's large, physical, and fast, but he'll need to work on routes. And I don't think he'll last to the 2nd, but if he would, I'd pass. OL is a bigger need, and we can help WR with FAs or later draft picks.

Edit: He's also had cases of stone hands in some games. With the way Warpathers have ripped Hankerson a new one for his "bad" hands, Benjamin isn't an ideal choice.

Agree. Watkins is definitely a top-10 pick.

Re: 34th Overall Pick

To me Amerson is barry wilburn at CB but Darren Sharper at FS. I'm not saying he can't play or be a solid CB.I'm saying to maximize his potentail to me his best position is FS.

Jordan Matthews will go later but turn out better than Benjamin.Benjamin will probably go in the 1st. Reminds me of Jon Baldwin which is a bad thing

Re: 34th Overall Pick

Keim wrote this about Amerson.

Rookie report: David Amerson - Washington Redskins Blog - ESPN

I think patience is necessary with any rookie. Let’s wait and see how the kid does where he is having had a season under his belt and (hopefully) more reliable play around him.

Re Matthews vs Benjamin, I think JM is a better starter as of now but KB might have greater upside. I’d personally keep an eye on Donte Moncrief out of Ole Miss. He had something of a down year but there’s a lot to like about his game. I’ve read a few detailed reports on him suggesting he high points the ball as well as anyone in this class, and is a savvy route runner with enough speed to be a deep threat.

Re: 34th Overall Pick

I believe our draft strategy will become a bit more clear once FA starts and we see who we're targeting. With the available DBs in the FA market I think that's where we spend money. I like the idea of drafting along the O and D lines and maybe a WR or ILB if you can get great value.

Any thoughts on Allen Robinson, the Penn St. receiver at this spot? I like the talent and upside of him. He's a big kid at 6'3 210 with good acceleration.

2013: 97 Rec, 1432 Yards, 6 TD.
2012: 77 Rec, 1018 Yards, 11TD.
