Yeah, that would work too.

Bowen is a DT in a 4-3? I think Jenkins could be. Bowen could be the man out in the switch.

Linebackers wil be a major need

This. Orakpo got 10 sacks even though he wasn't rushing nearly every down. I think he'd be a beast as a 4-3 DE.

@LFletcher59 39m

I think Morris as DC would be great choice! Brings energy & excitement! Would feel pretty good about HC, DC, & OC then!

How's this for a ringing endorsement for Haslett. ALready starting this new regime on a bad note.

Let us hope that is the case. It is what I am leaning towards...

So is it official back to the 4-3?
Would expect the defense to be very multiple.

But I imagine they will stop two gapping, which makes up (nominally) a 4-3 defense. But Orakpo (if he's retained) will not change positions to DE. Just Kerrigan.

Before people continue to get their panties in a bunch, ESPN is reporting that Morris is a candidate for DC...

Are you kidding me?

Kerrigan was a great DE in college. Some of his best work with the Redskins has been when they moved him inside and he could work against OG's. He would be outstanding for us at LDE. We need to re-sign Orakpo to play RDE.

Bowen couldn't rush the passer if his life depended on it. But he would be fine in the rotation at DT.

Cofield and Chris Baker could be a nice pairing at DT. I foresee them as the starters with Bowen and Jarvis Jenkins in the rotation.

I doubt that Perry Riley is fast enough to play OLB but I think he'd be OK at MLB. Keenan Robinson might make a good OLB in a 4-3. Even so, we're probably going to need to bring in some OLB candidates.

Re: Jay Gruden hired as head coach of the Redskins

I love how everyone is bashing keeping Haslett when it isn't truly official yet. It's all just speculation at this point. There are already conflicting media sources our there about it. Lets wait until its official to pass judgement.

That being said, I'm glad they hired Gruden. Hope this gets is on the right track. Can't wait to see what off season moves we make.

Meh...at least its not a fcking Special Teams coordinator with no prior head coaching experience.

What's the over/under on Jay's tenure as Skins' HC?

Only someone as persistently negative as you are would even be thinking of that right now.
