Also the promotion of Sean McVay to OC means those two have a good relationship and a foundation to work from.

Bottom line, the roster has to improve in key spots and the noise/drama needs to stop in order for this to be successful.
Bingo.

Dalton is not garbage but he is average. I don't think that Dalton is good enough to ever take the Bengals to the SB.

Forget the Jetskins. We have become the BucsTuskers, with Allen, Gruden, Haslett, and McVay all having recent ties to Tampa and/or Florida Tuskers.

Awesome, more of the great Haslett defense. Now I'm really excited.

I don't mind Haz staying. He was forced into running the 34 here and had Shanny looking over his shoulder and even making play calls. Safe to say he wasn't given a true shot to run the D.

I really like McVay getting bumped up.

All of them are more politically correct nicknames than our current one.

Not to mention given his personnel I doubt buddy Ryan could have coached them into a top 10 defense. I think it would be in our best interest to go back to the 4-3, and if they think haslett can be the guy to build that I'd be willing to give it a shot

I hope we do a hybrid defense that changes between 4-3 and 3-4 but its base scheme is a tampa-2

Yeah secondary especially was always a joke under Shanny. Talent is key.

Hopefully that's the idea behind keeping Haslett - same DC but different scheme.

Lol a month ago 99% of people wanted JH fired, now it was shannys fault. Smh love the blindness folks. Dude has never been a good DC for the redskins. He's been here 4 years now and its sos every yr. O well hope this is a good hire but I get the feeling it was a buddy helping a buddy and it was the plan all along.
