Re: Pick Your Next Redskins Head Coach
I'm glad we're exploring all options and doing what seems to be an exhaustive (and to some exhausting I'm sure) search for the next head coach. I don't say I have a clear cut favorite and really the offensive and defensive coordinators may be the most important hires.
If I had to rank them: Mike Zimmer Sean McDermott Jay Gruden No interest in: Darrell Bevell Greg Roman Vic Fangio

Re: Pick Your Next Redskins Head Coach
Saw this in the Caldwell Article:
"Caldwell met with owner Daniel Snyder, general manager Bruce Allen, director of pro personnel Morocco Brown, director of player personnel Scott Campbell and other team officials." That is good to hear. Not that it is surprising, but glad they brought in the personnel guys to help to evaluate candidates, and not just Bruce and Danny. |

I also like Fewell and Hue Jackson but he's not on this list

Re: Pick Your Next Redskins Head Coach
I voted Bevell, he is still my first choice, but I really would like Bevell or Bisaccia, and would be more than ok with Gruden, Zimmer, even McDermott.
As has been said, this is a good list, and I imagine with Cincy out, Gruden will be making the rounds quickly. |

I wonder who, if anyone, has turned us down because of our "undesirable" job. That is, who aside from the Cowhers of the world who turn down everyone.

Re: Pick Your Next Redskins Head Coach
I wonder what the level of interest our top choices have in DC compared to Detroit and Nashville?

Re: Pick Your Next Redskins Head Coach
James Franklin here in the nashville area could walk on water as he brought a dead program to life... He has good attitude. He is intriguing to me. I see him in the news nightly here in Tennessee. But I think my pick is Jay Gruden or Whisenhut... Gotta work with our future...our cornerstone RG3.
Like to see us go to 4-3 and get back to building this roster. Wanna see the new guys plan for all the changes that are coming to the defense. Last edited by 2BIG2BSKINNY; 01-06-2014 at 09:38 PM. |

Re: Pick Your Next Redskins Head Coach
Here a lot of people were taken by surprise that Munchak was fired...and with the new people in charge (Bud Adams death) many do not have a good fix on where this franchise is going. At least in the news yet!

Re: Pick Your Next Redskins Head Coach
And the Air Coryell offense, big OL, bruising RB, WR's flying everywhere and a stud TE and QB.
