Rex looked like he was a cool dude to hang out with back in the day. Well I mean the guy's name is Rex, doesn't get much cooler than that.

Rex is good for one great game...er...half. I could see him tearing it up if Cousins goes down, and then we're all like...Rex stays at as backup!

It could be Jordan Reed, if he were active.

I guess maybe Joshua Morgan? Kyle let him throw a pass to Griffin once.

If he's inactive too I say just put Helu and Morris both in the backfield and direct snap to one of them. That would be fun to watch.

These are the times we'll miss Lorenzo Alexander.

Re: Skins vs. Falcons Pre-game Thread

I can't believe that we are going to attempt to play a game this week despite all of the off-field drama. Talk about a flat team. Even more, I can't believe that we will do so with RGIII inactive for no good reason.

WTF Shanahans.

Re: Skins vs. Falcons Pre-game Thread

The emergency QB has been Darrel Young the past two seasons, but with him out I don't know.

Shanahan had to make RG3 inactive, otherwise it would be too obvious it wasn't just for health reasons he was being benched

Morgan steps in as QB.

Throws for 300 yards 2 TDs 1 INT

New QB controversy.

But the players are saying business as usual so they must be ready right?

Not sounding good for Reed... why not just shut him down too? I'm being totally serious by the way.

Mike Jones ‏@MikeJonesWaPo 11m
Reed being checked by multiple doctors. Still being tested. In addition to ongoing headaches, he hasn't passed tests.

Head trauma is nothing to mess around with. He should be shut down especially since he hasn't been cleared after multiple tests.

I fear that Reed may become our Jahvid Best - a tantalizing player who can't get on the field because of concussions.

Yeah Matty, if anyone needs to be shut down for injury reasons, it is Reed.

You don't shut down other young players because you're lying about the reason you shut down the first young player.

I saw a stat this morning that said 75% of concussions resolve within a week. So yeah this isn't good.
