Where he could be wrong is about Morris,by middle of the year teams knew not to under estimate Morris,so I think he's wrong there. But I think he will be right about Morris's production. He will probably still get a 1000 yards but I dont think he approaches last yrs 1600.Without the threat of Rg3 running and the misdirection of the read option he's not going to see the lanes he saw last yr
A lot of others have already commented, but since you asked me what I disagree with I will answer. In simplest terms, I disagree with: the whole premise, the headline, the starting sentence, and the closing lines. In between all that is where I see him showing himself as a clown.

Often the title is written by someone other than the writer, so I don't know if he can be faulted for this, but every football fan goes through ups and downs, hi's and low's, even crashes followed by immense emotional joys. It's what draws us to sports and football especially.

Further, in the last 10 regular/post season games, only twice have the Skins scored 14 or less, while 7 times they scored 27+. And this week they scored 27 when the two stars he is singling out, had admittedly bad games. So, by pointing out why the 2 stars will do worse, maybe we should even take heart that other players, like JReed, Hankerson, and Moss stepped up in the 2nd half. If we presume to acknowledge that Griffin/Morris will by default step back, the potential shown by the "lesser players" in this game should make it even more exciting.

Actually, most preseason mags had us ranked 3rd or even 4th in the division, and while as the season drew near, and Griffin started looking to start, alot of media still raised similar questions to what he said here. I would love a Redskins SB Party, but show me any 2 NFL announcers(not named Larry Michaels/Joe Theismann) that put the Redskins in the SB. That said, I disagree, and think it's a clown statement to think that the Skins don't have a reasonable expectation of a playoff berth.

Finally, without nitpicking anymore, I think he's a clown if he bases his whole premise on basically 5-6 bad drives from two players in a game that had 13 drives, and even more so really 2-3 bad exchanges within those drives.

If you've ever actually played football.. It's not as easy as you think to make a split second choice on when to let go, or when to hold on..

If you actually think D Hall tackled him in that matter to hurt him, then you seriously have observation issues.
There are people who still support and enjoy watching Hall? What kind of troll targets a dying section of the fanbase?

I went back and read myself to make sure that nothing I wrote could have been construed as "predicting doom", and I'm certain I did not do that. Unless you saw the 'getting exposed' observation as a doom prediction. Or are just out here hunting ghosts tonight.

I criticized a writer for criticizing the Redskins after a Week 1 loss in a way that only would have made sense before it.

I understand that you need to backtrack on what you said because I called you out on your overreaction but you need to explain what the following means. Because to me that's you saying that it's too late to predict doom because you're observing it (in bold).

People were down-ish on this team in the preaseason, but no one I read picked them to finish below Philadelphia.

I don't understand all the hate DeAngelo Hall gets. He's not a top-tier corner in the NFL; far from it, actually. But, as of right now, he's our best option at corner and our best defensive back. Would you really rather have Biggers, Wilson, or Amerson covering the other team's top receiver? Hall can be stupid and/or boneheaded, but he also has his good times: shutting Dez Bryant down, picking off 3 passes last season, returning a fumble for a TD in the opener... And he's only making 2.25 million, so he's not preventing us from signing a better corner. He may well be gone after this season, but he's our best corner right now; instead of complaining about him, maybe you should be thankful Wilson or Biggers isn't starting.

I know one thing, RB's are going to be looking forward to seeing Rambo in a one-on-one situation. That guy has already had broken ankles for Chris Johnson, and MCcoy put some moves on him as well.

And Vick.

I hope his hands skills are better than his tackling, else it's going to be a long season for Bobo.

Chris Johnson, McCoy, and Vick have broken plenty more ankles than just Rambo. Plus if we are relying on a FS to stop the run, we are already in a whole lot more trouble than a FS can solve.
