Re: Around the NFL: Conference Championships Edition
First Eli never called himself elite,he was ask in an interveiw "do you consider youself in the same group as Peyton ,Tom Brady, and Breeze all elite QBs and he said yes."And he is,other than Brady who else has 2 super bowl wins to their credit out there playing right now?

And I have the same problem with putting Ben in the Elite category as I do for Eli. They are both inconsistent and they have both had defenses that played huge roles in their teams success. Eli has proven that he can play like the elites. He has done it twice for approx. 10-12 game stretches, and the giants won two SB's. But other than those two runs, Eli is too inconsistent to be given elite status imo. |

There is only 2 Elite QBs and that's Brady and PM.

Having said that, I personally dont think Peyton has ever had a great defense, except this year in Denver, and they played terrible against the Ravens in their lone playoff game. Cant help but think if Peyton had a playoff caliber Def actually play like a playoff caliber Def during the playoffs, whether he wouldnt have at least one more himself. |

Interesting, so Dan Marino, who never won a Superbowl, isn't elite by your criteria? And no, Eli is not elite. He was lucky to be on a lucky team in '07 and '12. His own body of work doesn't hold up. |

Why who says he is guilty? He has been accused and has not even detained; sounds like a weak case to me.

It's funny because if that was you or me being in a rape investigation we wouldn't have jobs anymore. O well hope he's innocent but I'm sure he's probably guilty just like ben was

After watching the Football life on ray Lewis, I'm pulling even harder for Baltimore tomorrow and I'm a huge Brady guy but the ravens deserve that ring
