I have seen him out and about enough in B-more to know I don't like him. It is just my opinion and a weak one at that since I really don't know him or any NFL player for that matter.

If I'm Ozzie Newsome, I'm giving Ed Reed a big contract to have him stay to keep the defense good, and I'm trading up to get Te'o

Ray Lewis could always pull a Brett Farve. We won't know if he's truly retired until the 2013 season starts.

He could, but he doesn't seem like a waffler to me. He mentioned that one of the reasons he wants to retire is to see his kid's college football games if he gets a scholarship. Hard to do that if you're in a meeting room when his games are playing.

Personally I believe him. He's accomplished everything he has ever wanted in the NFL short of multiple championships (which he could do this year), and I kinda think his recent injury might have helped him make his decision. Obviously he's a first ballot HOFer. Good luck to him in the future, even though I thought he was a little over-the-hill in recent years I have a lot of respect for his accomplishments.

Re: Ray Lewis To Retire at End of Ravens Post-Season

Lewis will have a great life beyond football too IMO. Like those who watched the Football Life episode on Ray, I believe he finds purpose in whatever life affords.

...and London should be a first ballot HOFer too. Ok back to Ray...

Re: Ray Lewis To Retire at End of Ravens Post-Season

No matter how people feel about him, his dedication to the game had no equal. I did see his football life, made me want to get off the couch and spear tackle my wife.

Maybe now London can get the credit he deserves.
