Re: Ravens at Redskins Post Game Thread (RG3 MRI Result-Sprained Knee)
What? That's the point. If we're dropping 30 and the other team drops 31. What does that mean? Not only that the defense blows but the little things on the offensive side of the ball count as well.

You think leading the league in penalties is "humming along just fine"? Sure, it is when you are winning. How about that stretch when we played... Giants Steelers Panthers ...yeah...

Your rite our offense sucks. Were lucky to be where were at. Because lucky bounces (like the one in the first quarter of sundays game for instance - never ever go the other way). Come on man!

You said that scoring 30 doesnt matter if the other teams score a lot on us. I say scoring 30 matters regardless of whether the defense sucks or not. A good offense will bring more wins than a bad one. So yes, scoring 30 matters, even if you lose some while doing so.

I consider being ranked in the top 1-3 of almost every offensive category and 7 in points scored HUMMING along - yes. Absolutely. Also you do realize that the defense is responsible for some flags too rite? After 20 year of almost pure unadulterated trash on offense we are suddenly one of the best youngest and brightest offenses in the league.

Well ... 3rd down conversions are about sustaining drives and eating clock.
Don't get me wrong... I love the quick strike nature of our offense. At the same time a long drive or three keeps our D off the field and that's got to be a good thing.

Sometimes I don't even know why I bother. They take something you say, twist it into something it's not and completely miss the point.

Just like this morning you didnt say that we were all giving up except for you. Just like you didnt say you cant see the sun set on the east coast? I suppose you didnt say we are lucky to be 7-6 either? Im seeing a pattern here. Nobody is twisting anything. I asked why all this negativity about our offense when we are in the midst of a four game win streak against big time opponents and our offense is one of the top in the league? Have third and longs been an issue? Sure. Is it losing games for us and do you need to harp on it all day? No. Edit: it is your rite to do so in an open forum but you should know its going to draw rebuttle rite? |

Re: Ravens at Redskins Post Game Thread (RG3 MRI Result-Sprained Knee)
Everyday base in the NFL can bring some negative out of all o the countless stats and complain.
We are 7-6. Period. We do have a path to win the division. We win our final three. The Giants win this week against Atlanta, lose at Baltimore, and beat Philly. Bang NFC east crown. 3-6 to that. That would be amazing. All of the bad things we do wrong I could care less about right now. As long as we keep winning I am happy. 10-6 I believe will also get the Giants in as they or us or someone else will jump the Bears. They are on a downward spiral and I believe will finish with either a 10-6 record or worse. The Pack will beat them whenever they play them I the coming weeks.
