Who will have the best season?

Choices are:
Coles
Gardner
Any of the Redskins WR's

~~~Discuss~~~
My Opinion:
Gardner.
Why:
Coles is the most talented, but he will be slowed by his toe and will be double covered all year.
Moss will be missused just like coles was last year. i think he will get injured going over the middle.
Jacobs is the only other guy with the talent to have a very good year but who knows what he is going to do. i hope he is starting.
Gardner is able to beat defenders. he is deceptively fast and makes the tough catches. if only he could catch the easy ones...
he is going to a good system with a good QB, WR and a good backfield. Hopefully for him he can stay in the same system for a few years so he can get comfortable with the offence and pay more attention to catching the ball.
I am not sure but I dont think that Gibbs will send Moss across the middle. I think that is why we brought Dyson in...
Re: Who will have the best season?
coles was too slow to break free, he wassn't misused, he's just not the speedster he was when when got him... even slowed in a run heavy offense he got 900 yards, so i imagine he'll do the best and post 1000-1200 back with the jets.
it looks like we can lots of speed and multiple threats, i'm sure we'll have at least 2 700-800 yard guys and a bunch more in the 300-500 range, but we're not really going to have a clear cut #1 go-to guy.
Re: Who will have the best season?
I'm saying Coles, assuming Pennington is good to go.
Gardner is in a fight for the #2 job with Keary Colbert, who had a decent season last year. I think Moss will provide some big plays for us with good yards-per-catch, but I don't see him and Ramsey connecting all that often (maybe 50 receptions for Moss).
Coles did have a bum toe, but he still caught a ton of balls for us. I can't see his production declining by switching from Ramsey to Pennington. He'll be the only one of these WRs to go over 1000 yards.
Even counting Moss? I think Moss could easily go over 1000 yards if healthy.
I don't know about the Panthers offense. Someday, someone will realize that Delhomme has exactly zero zip on the ball, and has been the beneficiary of Muhammed and Smith making plays against a defense stacked against the run. Gardner will be forced to make plays on almost every pass to him, and while he's certainly capable of doing so, a case of the dropsies will not endear him to John Fox.
I dunno, I really like Delhomme. The guy just gets it done somehow. Last year the Panthers really needed him to step up and he did just that.
Re: Who will have the best season?
Right. Unlike the whole Redskins team, Delhomme just has that "thing" that lets him win. He's not the most talented and DEFINITELY doesn't have a lot of zip, but he just wins.
Re: Who will have the best season?
Gardner might not even be guaranteed to start in Carolina, they already have Smith and Colbert. Colbert had a pretty solid rookie season, I'm sure they'd like to see him continue to develop.
Delhomme and Pennington are very similar in this. In terms of "zip" on the ball, Ramsey wins, hands down. He just hasn't proven that he is one of those guys that "just wins"....YET!
As for the original question:
Coles will do well if healthy, which is doubtful.
Gardner will be alright, but I don't see him doing much more than his last couple years here, especially fighting for the starting spot with Colbert.
Our guys are more of an unknown. Moss has the potential to be the tops, but that is provided he stays healthy. Jacobs could finish the season as the #1 or #2, but right now, nobody really knows. Patten is solid, but can he really fill the role of a true #2 WR? I think our group will out-perform the former Skins and what all of the "experts" predict.
Re: Who will have the best season?
coles, i mean that is a good team but then again it is a run run run team, no reciever(including moss) had over 1000 yards on that team, moss had the most but I mean they have MCcarien and the sherbert guy. Not the best WR corp, not horrible but in all seriousness not amazing. Coles will be the go to guy on offense, well after the run.
Gardner- might not even start, so that has to be a factor, and if he plays like 50/50 you can expect production just to be a little better than this year
Moss- I can see 1000 yards, which i can't see for gardner or Coles, but also i can see just 50-60 catches, so 1000 yards would be hard to get.
Patten i really think will surprise people. i think that he will do "better" than Moss, not in total yards but in his part as second WR on our team.
I think that the jets and hopefully us will run a lot next year. This leaves gardner, but he might not even start let alone be the receiver on that team, so this is a hard question indeed. I would have to say Moss or Coles just because they are starting number 1s and narrow it to Coles because he will get the majority of the catches on that team.
On a side note the speed we have will undoubtably force some room, no matter what, if we just threatend a deep pass they will be forced to play back and then portis will take it. I truly feel that the room that portis will get will cause our offense to become really productive. this will help our defense because they wouldn't be on the field 3 minutes after they get off. If we get room for portis i can only imagine what will happen. Can't wait Can't Wait Can't Wait
Re: Who will have the best season?
I gotta say coles will have the best year. Ramsey will be spreading the ball around among a plethera of speedsters this year. Coles is basically the Jets best option at wideout and pennington will be trying to restore the reputation for a deep threat after being questioned at the end of last season.
Gardner will be a #3 reciever. Colbert is more talented and consistant, and steve smith is a gamebreaker if he's healthy. On top of which, I like Jake D and everything, but he does just toss the ball in the air A LOT, and he just happens to have physical recievers to bring it down. Moose, Smith, Colbert, Mangum, etc...I wouldn't say Gardner cant preform like those guys, its just a question of will he and based on his preformance here, I'd have to say no.
Re: Who will have the best season?
Well, I think you gotta take Gardner out first, because he is going to be a #3 recivier. Or a #2, who dosent get as many looks as a normal #2, because Kerry Colbert is very good.
Coles I think could have a very big year in New York. He is defintley their go to guy up there, so I would have to chose him. I think here in Washington, we will be spreading the ball around more, so none of those guys will see as many passes as Coles.
Re: Who will have the best season?
I think Patten will be our biggest surprise. EVERY interview he talks about how he wants to be the #1 receiver and not let anyone down...
Re: Who will have the best season?
Coles if coming into the best situation. He already has chemistry with Pennington and always is around 1000 yards a season. I'm voting for him.
