It's gotta be an easy job when you can just write the same rumor over and over.

If I were Manning I would handicap it:

1) Texans - Most Talented team with out a top 5 QB.
2) 49ers - Second most talented team with out a top 5 Qb.
3) Jets
4) Redskins
5) Seahawks
6) Dolphins
7) Cardinals

For Manning this has to be about winning another Championship, this is not about money or location. Manning has enough money. Manning is such a huge competitor, his brother has two rings. Peyton wants another.
Redskins have a ton of cap space and some good pieces in place. Skins have a chance. Small chance, but still a chance.

Thanks for asking. Good to be back, even for a minute.

HAD to log on today to see how you guys feel about Peyton Manning and the Gregg Williams thing.

edit: just checked...you guys have not had to endure one of my posts since 10/24/11!
Wow. Glad to hear the family is ok.

honestly, if i were manning, i'd go to the 49ers and insist on WR/OL signings.

Crabtree, Braylon Edwards (if resigned), Tedd Ginn and Reggie Wayne (tagging along) are good enough for Peyton.

Lose that kid who can't catch punts though.

I think they're sticking with Smith. A year ago, it would be an easy decision to cut ties with Alex Smith, but now he's made things interesting and Harbaugh loves him.

If Vincent Jackson and Garcon join Manning in SF, that is a power move.

Imagine Manning to Andre Johnson of the Texans and their running game and TE's. How could PManning not be thinking about that? I would.

His arm is now al dente. Try the veal (RGIII).

would he sign a contract that pays the exact percentage of snaps taken? can that type of contract exist? that's the only way i trust the poor bag of bones.

So if the Texans do decide to go with Manning...

Anyone want Schaub here? We know he can run the system!

They'll probably call us with a trade offer.

I said No to Schaub earlier for injury concerns but you know what? Why not I do think hes a good QB and obviously we need one so yes I'd say Manning, RG3, and now Schaub if available

Montana had a bad back, played two years in KC and was done. He missed games both season cause he couldn't stay on the field. He did get them to the AFC championship.

This is a different situation. This injury is to a nerve/nerves that go into his tricep, which is the major muscle to his throwing arm. Plus we have way too many holes here. Yeah we'll go the FA route but as we know that just doesn't work. See Philly and past Redskins teams. Manning will make us better, but we're still not a SB team w/ him under center.
