Re: Time for an "OCCUPY LANDOVER" Movement
The chances of getting Skins' fans to revolt against the ownership here are virtually nil but if anyone is interested in seeing how something like this can work, they need to study what LA Dodger fans did to the owner out there.
Ticket sales dropped about 20% over a two year period and fans with tickets stayed home - - did not sell tickets to others - - so that stadium revenue from parking/concessions etc went waaaay down. Then there was a boycott on Dodgers' gear and paraphranalia. The owner was involved in a hugely messy and expensive divorce action and the decline in revenues made the banks that were providing loans to him to fund the cash-flow for the team very nervous. The banks pulled funding and MLB had to step in. Danny Boy has no such obvious vulnerability - - although Six Flags and Johnny Rockets are hardly licenses to print money - - so even a concerted economic effort would probably not work. And even if he were vulnerable, too many Skins' fans are Skins' fans only because it is socially important to one's status in the DC area to be seen as a Skins' fan. Oh, and by the way, if you are going to "OCCUPY" anything, why not OCCUPY ASHBURN. The team and the owner and all those folks are in Ashburn a whole hell of a lot more time than they are in Landover - - usually 10 days a year.

Re: Time for an "OCCUPY LANDOVER" Movement
I just wanted to say Gano sucks. He is like the Rex Grossman of kickers. Also, now is the time to support the Redskins. They have completely overhauled their roster, have kept their draft chioces and have stock piled a few extra. This is the way a good team is built. They need to come away with a good QB, and this team will be successfull. Be patient, and support them.

We are heading in the right direction but it's going to take a little longer that we had originally wanted or expected.
