He missed a 49 yard field goal and a 52 yard field goal, and you want to cut him?? Are you under some delusional impression that there are a plethora of place kickers out there who routinely kick 50 yard field goals who are currently unemployed??
~~~~~~~~~~~ The guy has missed too many "easy" ones over the course of his career. I can swallow the ones you miss from 50 yards out. Hold on to him at this point but look in the offseason.
