I've been playing fantasy long enough that I can easily separate the two. Am I going to be openly rooting for Dez on Sunday? Hell no. But the fact of the matter is, he's probably going to get his during the game. Whenever a guy I have in fantasy goes off vs the Skins, I'm not overly happy about it. I just shrug my shoulders and say, "good start."

I typically havent owned too many Skins players in fantasy, because for the nearly 10 years I've been playing, there haven't been too many guys on our team worth it. There are those rare occasions when I have an opposing player going against the Skins in fantasy, dude goes off, but the Skins still win the game. It's rare, but is awesome when it does happen.

Re: Its Dallas Week

Not playing FF because of a loyalty issue with your team seems a lot like not playing checkers because of a loyalty issue with the color red.

Re: Its Dallas Week

im tired of this negativity surrounding the team and for some reason Im freakin hyped about this game. I think we get some this weekend. HTTR.

Dallas, overconfident as usually after beating a shitty team Seattle, getting thier asses kicked come Sunday. Mark my words

And beating the one loss 49ers on the road, and simply thrashing the Bills who I believe held the 'Skins scoreless.

There's a difference between overconfidence and swagger. I just hope Dallas has not crossed that particular line.

Yeah,I'm not quite in the belly,I'm in Houston.Everyone at work knows I love the skins and they have no problems giving me a hard time after a skins loss, makes Monday's suck even more
A couple weeks ago I went to a cancer benefit for a high school friend I hadn't seen in 30 years
I said do you remember me? First words out of his mouth were : Washington Redskins!
Couldn't believe he remembered that, made the trip worth it

Re: Its Dallas Week

I don't care what the record is between both teams even when we had the I believe 10 game streak against you guys I always look forward to our matches they're almost always exiting and go to the final second.

Heck even in our 1-15 year our only win was against you guys a Win up to this date it rub you guys in the wrong way. So this game matters and it will be good

I think there is a fundamental difference between rooting as a fan and gambling.

Rooting is done with your heart and your emotions.

Betting is done with your brain and your wallet.

I have exactly ZERO difficulty in separating those two activities...

I completely Agree I do it all the time.

In fact when I bet against Dallas because I feel the line favors me it becomes some what a win, Win for me... If Dallas loses well at least I made so money and if Dallas win I don't care if I lost the bet because my team won!!!
