Re: R.W. McQuarters

What I'm saying is based on what WAS available this offseason, we had one of the better offseasons in the league. Getting a stud doesn't define a great offseason. Prior to Gibbs coming back we had plenty of "studs" we took in the offseason and many would rate those as the poorest choices we could have taken. Could we have pursued Moss? Sure, but the price that would go along with him monetarily would have been great. Yes, we might have gotten a stud, but I don't think I would have categorized this offseason as great.

BUT, like I said before, it's VERY subjective.

Exactly Matty. I couldn't have said it any better.

Re: R.W. McQuarters

No one is saying McQuarters is some stud. But, he'll add depth to a position that requires depth. Williams' system requires at least 3 solid corners (about half of his plays involve 3 CBs). With Rogers, Springs, Harris, McQuarters and youngsters Wilds and Brown, we've got a nice (but not too expensive) stable of corners.

OK... So not at all like the Alex Molden, Ralph Brown situation last year, or the short but sweet Redskins career of Cory " possible replacement for Sean Taylor " Hall, right?

Thank you for clearing that up.

Re: R.W. McQuarters

Let's be clear here, Hall asked for his release, so let's not pin this on the team as a bad move.

So you don't like the way the defense is being managed?

Apparently every move the team makes has to be a homerun, otherwise it's a total failure and a lack of competence by the front office.

Who`s pinning anything on the team? Did I say it was a BAD move?

Well, it seems that you don't like any of the defensive decisions made regarding the players we've talked about here, which would mean you don't like the way the D is being managed.

You're not making any sense.

We used to get OLD Studs past their prime... I think YES we finally got away from that...
