I just dont see the prolific offense he was supposed to bring to town. along with his son, i might add. Yeah, this is year two, but with 2 offseasons, a willing owner and the most draft picks this franchise has seen in a blue frikkin moon, we as fans expect to see a LITTLE improvement. It really is sad to watch this team. Being a redskins fan is like sticking pushpins into you ball sac. |

Re: 49ers vs. Redskins Game Day Thread
i think lost in our amazing offensive suckage is just how much the defense has improved from last year. Still, we're wasting that improvement this year. Hopefully it pays dividends once we get another draft into this system.

Where's Brad Johnson when we need him again?

Re: 49ers vs. Redskins Game Day Thread
Well Shanahan blew up the defense to rebuild it again at the expense of rebuilding the offense. MS' idea of rebuilding the offense was to trade for McNabb last year and gamble with the Rex/Beck duo this year.

I honestly think that. I think an elite QB would get it to the open receiver more times than not and I think we have one guy open at least every play... just my opinion.

I think a new QB, plus a full offseason for Helu, Hankerson and Paul... hopefully pick up an O line starter in the 2nd round... we could compete next year.

And maybe we'll have 3 strings instead of 2 at QB.

Re: 49ers vs. Redskins Game Day Thread
Our defense cannot force a turnover to help the offense.

Re: 49ers vs. Redskins Game Day Thread
Unfortunately we do not have the offensive line that Carolina has (Kalil, Gross).

Re: 49ers vs. Redskins Game Day Thread
What's the point, you forced a TO and the offense goes 3 and out or turn the ball over.
