There is absolutely no way Jason Campbell starts this year.

I'd better not have to change my screenname. I'll be pissed.
Ramsey isnt entering a contract year. He has one year remaining on his deal following this season.

He has impressed the coaches so far....
So I think he will start 2 and play in all 4 preseason games.
Ramsey will be on a short leash this year...
If he loses the first 3 games or so Campbell will be put in and Brunell will be his signal caller/teacher on the sidelines carrying the clipboard.
While Ramsey will get some injury like turf toe and/or maybe some other mysterious illness and be on IR for the rest of the season.

Re: Jason Campbell

I hope Campbell doesnot start if he starts either Ramsey was hurt or Ramsey played such a bad season we are looking like the 49ers last year and Gibbs throws him in for experience. Thats the only way he starts this year, he might look good in preseason but we saw how Wurfell looked in preseason under Spurrier that means nothing.

Will Batman and Robin escape from the clutches of the Penguin?
Will GI Joe destroy the Cobra base?

Re: Jason Campbell

What if we have a Patriots type season, Ramsey winning 10 + games, then going down injured and Campbell takes us to a winning Super Bowl visit?

I'm just saying........

Re: Jason Campbell

We started Schuler, Wuerffel, Matthews... so many shitty QBs. Why not Campbell? If he sucks we'll just trade more draft picks next year for another unproven rook. Or maybe we'll sign Testes Verde or Kurt Warner or some other washed up dinosaur to a 7 year, 40+ millon dollar deal. Christ, I'm going to start drinking heavily.

Ramsey will start. Also in preseason.

Campell will not play in regular season at all this year.

If Ram gets hurt seriously then he'll go on injured reserve and they will find a veteren like Jeff George to compete with or back up Brunell for the starting job.

Re: Jason Campbell

I hope you guys are kidding. Seriously, I think we can take solace in the fact that Gibbs has learned from last year. He is not interested in overpriced veterans.
