Yes and no. The fact that he has gained his coaching experience under Parcells and Sparano and is a solid coach is what's appealing. I guess the same could be said about McCardell whom I don't recall having any previous experience and is doing a decent job.

I don't really care for Haslett but can he be fired one season after transitioning to the 3-4 defense when they obviously don't have the personnel to pull it off? I mean he doesn't have a good track record anyway and I wouldn't mind seeing him go but would that even be fair? I think we should have stuck with the 4-3 until you have the draft picks to get the talent you need to pull off a new defensive scheme. What do I know though right? It's not like our defense was bottom of the league this year. Oh, wait....
