I love the all burgundy, just not the experiences that've come with it.

I just hope we get something more modern and something that gets rid of the indian on the helmet. i also hope that we don't just use the new jersey as a throwback for a couple of games, but we have "permanent" new home, alternate and away jerseys.

Funny how a little uniform talk gets twisted so easily.

Re: New Uniforms? Summo on Redskins.com!
Thats crazy! Thats the best part of the jersey! Thats what we represent!I could see wearing the Arrowhead 75th anniversary helmets for a few games but we cant get rid of the NATIVE AMERICAN head. Not a fan of the yellow helmets. And media really need to stop tearing Bruce Allen a new asshole for addressing the uniform issue. Shows he has a touch with the fanbase. And also, i have a full time job and STILL have time to be on this forum everyday and watch tape and get opinions of alot of players. But THAT is his full time job so im sure as much analyzing we're doing, they've done more. They can take a few minutes to discuss uniforms lol.

Well if we do get new uniforms, we'll be making the most profit in the league. Probably surpass Dallas again, since everyone will want the authentic gear.

It really was a waste of two years and with our current line instability and lack of depth it will be another 2-3 years before we'll see if we're even going to be competitive under Shanahan. Too much wasted time with no real direction in place. You can say that we have it now but then you're still talking 2+ years before we see it come to fruition...it's disappointing.

If Zorn was 20-12 instead of 12-20 he might still be around.

Re: New Uniforms? Summo on Redskins.com!
He was a rookie coach though so what was the expectation. If he was hired in the first place it was because management believed in his system and his implementation of it.
I'm sure after their hours of interaction during the interview process that management was able to come away with an informed enough decision to entitle him to that. Zorn wasn't even given time to see his rookie draft class in their 3rd NFL year. That's one of the ways one can tell that informed decisions are not being made because they are not being stuck to. The person behind the decision knows they don't have the aptitude necessary to stick behind the choices being made...thus the constant turnover in personnel and coaches.

Re: New Uniforms? Summo on Redskins.com!
Well when you decide to blow things up from the top (Vinny out, Allen in) there are bound to be significant changes that come along with the change of direction. This is the kind of change I can live with, and the kind of change that was desperately needed.

Re: New Uniforms? Summo on Redskins.com!
A member named Moseph on CCSLC did this masterpiece: (giving full credit)
^ (The latest revision with smaller feather, no spears) Previous version: He also did this, which is good but not AS good as the feather on the pants version: There is a ton of Redskins concepts being done on that site, but Moseph's work is my favorite so far. With all of the attention and work being done by people, I bet there's a chance something will be seen by Bruce Allen that he likes and we could get some tweaks soon. Not an overhaul, but updates. I still think we have one of the best uniforms in the NFL currently, it's classic and the colors work so well, so I don't want anything to stray too far from the look.
