As I said before thats for the front office to decide. Personally I like what I've read from them in scouting reports, but personally both of them seem to be very different. Bradford is more laid back while Clausen is a fiery competitor. Both are accurate QB's but Bradford has the type of accuracy that makes me more comfortable pulling for him at the moment. Either way we'll find come April what they think of those two QB prospects. Clausen though might be a moot point as Walter Football makes a pretty strong case for why the Rams will take Clausen.

WalterFootball.com: 2010 NFL Mock Draft
(Other things to take from this article: 2nd round QB's have a 75% bust rate (wish they would compare that to 1st round QB's) and Bradford could fall far if we pass on him, the logic being that if the team with inside information from Bradford's doctor passes on him why would other teams want him.)

Quote:
What about the projection systems that view these guys as players who will likely be successful, but not historic? Are they wrong? More specifically, what traits do these two have in common with players who can score 100 in QB rating year in and year out...the best of the best.
Traits like accuracy, the ability to read defenses, and the most underrated factor, getting drafted to the right system. Very few guys if any can develop on any team as a rookie, Manning is the only one that comes to mind as a guy that would have succeeded anywhere. However right now I feel like we are one of those teams with the right system to make a good QB great and great QB elite. Also keep in mind that our prized rookie will be riding the pine for a year so that will give us 2 years worth of draft picks and free agency to build an Offensive Line around him.

Quote:
And what of players such as Roethlisberger, who seem to produce in big games, but just don't have the consistent production to be in big games on a year to year basis. Do you draft that kind of player in the top five? Or do you look for someone better?
With Big Ben the Steelers are Super Bowl contenders every year. Big Ben has now finished a season with a 100 QB rating twice, and a rating in the 90's twice, though it is surprising to see him with an 80 rating last year when they won Super Bowl he still came through and played well in the playoffs (91.6 postseason rating last year). To be honest a season with an 80 rating or something to that effect is fine if the QB has produced enough in other seasons.

You pick football games, act really arrogantly about your choice, lose convincingly, etc. makes you a loser.
I'm not paid to predict the outcomes of Football games. However, your boy Jason Campbell is paid to win Football games, something he's been unable to do in his professional career. Your myopic analogies are laughable at best.

Thus the "takes one to know one comment". I was appealing to your ability to identify losers. Coming from you, it was actually just sort of funny. 53 fan said it way more eloquently than I did...he tends to do that sort of thing.
This is where it all went wrong. Instead of sticking to the merits of the debate, you deviated into the realm of personal insults.

Some people want real issues addressed, while others care not if this team keeps losing or not, but rather, whether they can replace the (productive) players who they do not like. That's also a trait of a loser, but again, and additional evidence that you are, in fact, a loser just seems like overkill at this point.
The only thing that's overkill is your post count. Which is shameful for anyone who isn't a mod or webmaster. You'll be on ignore from this point forward.

If the new front office and Shanahan want to pick a QB with the #4 pick, i dont have a problem with it. If they think he is a franchise QB, then they have to take them. Yes we need O-lineman too, we need to build a team also and if they think one of QB's is someone they cant pass up no problems with me.

Re: AFC/NFC Championship Weekend '10

Just saw this video on Clausen. Personally I came away very impressed with the TD passes. These were throws that required top notch anticipation and ball placement. The receivers still had to come away with tough catches but the throws were still top class. The part that impressed me most though was the fact that all the throws weren't simply made to Golden Tate.

Actually feeling kind of bummed now at the prospect of the Rams taking Clausen....thats my Quarterback.

Re: AFC/NFC Championship Weekend '10

I know that not too many guys will understand this, but I feel that NO is short changing themselves on offense. Many of their formations have their recievers working from the inside out when I feel that their strength is working from the outside in. It is just an observation and I really hope that the Saints win.

That's something I'm not very good at when it involves the Redskins. This is kinda new for me.
