Re: Around the NFL (Regular Season Finale)

I will be back next week regardless of the outcome. I have actually been off all forums because of my classes until early last month.

My best friend is a Redskin fan and she is very bitter right now so I slightly understand the anger and hate. Y'all hatred for Dallas must be at an all time high with the dismal season the Redskin just had. Cheer up the Giant fans are just a pissed.

No. Giants fans are pissed, certainly. But not "just as pissed."

It's so funny how when the Cowgirls are sucking wind, people like you and Sandtrap are so "busy" or "out of the country" in his case. How perfectly convenient.

Feel free to leave. Your and Sandtrap's timing for chirping away on this site is lame.

I am back again like I said regardless of the outcome. Dallas got their butts smacked around on offense. O-line looked like the deadskins out there. Disappointed likewise and pissed with Garrett, hopefully he is gone. Decent season another division title, playoff win, good team chemistry so overall Dallas has a lot to build on unlike some teams out there.

Valleyranchgirl, do you think that if the Cowboys had lost to the Eagles, Wade Phillips would have been fired? And with Bill Cowher (and Jon Gruden) still out there, you think JJ has some small desire to fire Phillips to make a run at one of these guys?

Yes, Wade would have been fired the next day. Jerral does want to can him, but the defense played really well down the stretch. He has made many promises to Garrett that I would love to see get broken for Cowher. I would like to see Gruden as just a coordinator/asst head coach role. Garrett makes terrible calls as a coordinator and his scheme sucks. I would hate to watch him be the headcoach. If Jerry brings someone in Garrett is gone.

Glad to see you come back. At least one of you has the stones to show your face on here after that utter joke of a game. Sandtrap? Yeah not so much.

I agree with everything you say here except the team chemistry thing. You guys faced some adversity for the first time in weeks and folded quickly and in ugly fashion. That's bad coaching and bad team leadership right there. You dominated that first quarter in yardage and time of possession, and as soon as Romo got sacked a few times and Favre threw a TD, it was like you guys just shrugged your shoulders and quit.

In a way, today's game was a microcosm of the Cowboys mental makeup historically. Number of wins in Cowboys franchise history when trailing in a game by 14 or more? Still stuck at 1. In 50 years. ONE.
