Re: The D. Hall incident

per a tweet, AH is saying he was fined for his involvement. Didn't specify how much. I find that to be ridiculous if true, it only makes sense if his fine is like 5000, or less, and the ATL coaches (both that were involved) have fines of 20-30K. I gotta believe that would dent the strength and conditioning coach's pocket book.

He was a thug at VA Tech, a thug in Atlanta and Oakland, and he is a thug now. We all knew this would happen as soon as he got paid. Cut him and let's apply the money to youth, cause face it, we are starting over.

Seriously I don't know which is funnier, that they are doing this, or that they have almost 70% of what your Kapipal account for your sellourteam site has.

edit: they are now are at $1440. incredible.

I picked, but really what does it say about: fan base, attitude, ownership, and overall team health that one fan base is ponying up money to show their support for their coach and team, while another is ponying up money to put on a public display designed to embarrass the owner and franchise.

I know I've never been more embarrassed as a fan, both because of our owner, but also, and even more so, because of the fans who think that riding a media frenzy against our team somehow does anything other than add to the media embarrassment our team already is.

Re: The D. Hall incident

I'll be really interested to hear what folks have to say around here when Smith and the strength coach get fined 2 or 3 times what Hall is fined. Hall my get $5,000 but Smith and the strength coach will likely get at least $10k for being the aggressors.

Well let's see...the unreasonable people (those who believe Hall is the root of all the Redskins problem...and the world's) will complain about this and add that Hall should be suspended.

The reasonable people would say that a coach has a greater responsibility given their position of authority, and that the penalty is justifiable.

I would have been ok with both player and coaches getting the same penalty.

haha, you should talk to them about how to get money for the buses

seriously, these guys are making hundreds of thousands to millions a year... and people want to raise money for them?

this is like when that (insert favorite slur here) started the "pay metallica back" for lost revenue due to downloads during that whole Napster thing
