Re: Russ Grimm our next coach?

Before anyone brushes this one off lets remember that Grimm was in serious consideration to replace Cower in Pittsburgh before Tomlin later took the job

Not only that, if people watched the Giants Cards game, you would have seen that the reason the Cards won was because of OL providing time and opening holes for Wells. Hmm, I wonder who coaches that OL?

It makes Grimm look that much better when you actually draft O-lineman.

I believe he's also the assistant HC and I'm sure he has input in the offense.

ok,ok...but that offense also includes boldin, fitz, and breaston. They were all drafted by the cards. Maybe we should hire there GM.

As we know that you can have receivers and without an OL that provides the time to throw you got nothing.

Re: Russ Grimm our next coach?

I like Grimm, but why hasn't he been hired or really considered for a HC after Tomlin got the Pitt job? I say stay away from this past glory crap also, like others have previously stated before. We tried that with Gibbs and Bugel and that really didn't lead us anywhere now did it? We don't need a new O line guy(Bugel) we need a FO that realizes you build a team with the lines being the the highest priority. If we bring Grimm in do it to replace a possible retiring Bugel. I can see Bugel retiring after this season.

O line is irrelevant if you don't have the Wrs to produce. Minus Moss, we have squat for a WR corp.

Jennings and Driver seem to be doing ok behind the Packers terrible Oline. Maybe it's the QB??

I think that would be up to the Head Coach if he wants to bring in Russ Grimm to replace Bugel. I say lets retire Bugel he is past his prime.

I saw Jeremy Bridges in the lineup for the Cardinals. I guess he was not good enough to play on our O-Line. Good coaching move. I guess Bugel did not think he was better than the players we had. HMMMMMM.
