Re: Redskins vs. Giants Gameday thread, Opener 2009
so far it looks to me like to D is too predictable. If Landry is deep it's Cover 1, otherwise it's Cover 2 Zone. The deep pass on the first drive, Eli knew right where to go, easy read. Blache MUST do a better job of disguising and shifting coverages. Base 4 man rush ain't getting it done either.

Same as last year we are going to suck big time. Hope the front office and the coaches are happy.

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Gameday thread, Opener 2009
I wouldn't go so far as to say that. But we are playing some scared, uninspired football. And our secondary looks so bad, I'm scared teams won'thave to run on us, they can just throw on us all game.

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Gameday thread, Opener 2009
Maybe we think it's still pre-season. We're really beginning to dig a hole for ourselves. The defense has already been on the field too long in this 1st qtr.

If the D looks this bad now just wait until it's the 4th quarter and they've been on the field all game.

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Gameday thread, Opener 2009
Our D is getting flat out gassed and we're getting no pressure. The 1st quarter is over and we've run 3 plays on offense. Gross.

Re: Redskins vs. Giants Gameday thread, Opener 2009
Our D looks fantastic on the 3rd and 1s. But anything over 4 yards, it's swiss cheese city.
